About the Job:
The Warehouse Lead is responsible for working with warehouse personnel to complete assigned tasks while providing on-the-job training and direction. The position is responsible for coordinating completion of daily operations as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor. The Warehouse Lead will maintain open communication with the Warehouse Supervisor and consistently relay status updates for given assignments. Works within multiple PC-based programs (i.e. Epicor, Excel, Teams) as needed. Maintains a consistently high efficiency level and achieves necessary metrics in all areas of warehouse work.
What You Do:
Perform daily Fulfillment Workbench functions
Support and help manage cycle count and inventory reconciliation processes
Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace safety procedures, and OSHA regulations
Collaborate with supervisors and other departments to resolve issues and improve processes
Make informed decisions and plan based on ERP data
Manage multiple priorities in a warehouse environment
Coordinate domestic and international shipments and all necessary paperwork using PC based ERP programs and basic Microsoft office software
May give input toward and evaluate personnel work performance for the Warehouse Supervisor
Participate and follow CMC's ISO procedures related to the Warehouse Lead Position and in accordance with CMC's ISO quality management system
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely (if certified)
Maintain and organize warehouse facilities
Who You Are:
High School diploma or GED, literacy, and mathematical competency are required
Two to three years warehouse experience, with supervisory and work planning experience
Two to three years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combinations of education and experience
Valid forklift certification and a valid California driver's license
Must have strong computer skills, including ERP and standard Microsoft business software
Ability to problem solve general and complex warehouse problems and resolve customer or vendor related issues with minimal supervision
Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to read and interpret general business forms, shipping/work order documents, and sales order reports

This position involves working in the warehouse and yard; and providing support to the Branch Manager and Sales associates ensuring their focus is dedicated to helping customers. Primary responsibility is to handle material and maintain the warehouse / yard organization and cleanliness; and making local deliveries.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
* Ensure warehouse, yard, and receiving area are organized and maintain cleanliness
* Load and unload deliveries and receipts
* Maintain good condition of and operate equipment, delivery trucks, and forklift
* Pull orders and transfers from warehouse and yard without computer transactions
* Physically stock warehouse and yard material once receiving process is completed
* Perform all Driver duties, including:
* Drive company vehicles to make customer deliveries and pick up material from suppliers with excellent safety precautions and care for company equipment
* Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of and supplies in vehicles, and reporting all issues and damage
Requirements
* Experience: High volume warehouse or distribution experience a plus. Delivery driving with customer interaction a plus.
* Education: High School or GED
* Landscape, irrigation and utility knowledge is a plus.
* Positive / Professional / Problem solver
* Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
* Valid driver's license required with a clean driving record.
* Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Looking for an opportunity to work with a talented team and expand your experience as a Cable Handler? Two Years of experience in:
Maintain explosive magazines, ensure magazines are properly cleaned, organized, and contents are properly marked for fluent movement between facilities.
Perform sampling of magazines and production buildings
Be a forklift certified operator and provide physical movements and staging of components.
Perform issue and receipt inspections to ensure the items were not damaged during shipment.
Deliver, move, transfer items from one location to another.
Provide accurate tracking and identification, proper warehousing and storage.
Perform identification of obsolete/excess materials, and verification of material availability, daily.
Perform minor sanding, touch-ups, re-stenciling, minor repairs of containers and canisters.

Salary Range Hourly: $23.43 to $29.18
