Maintains inventory control by meticulously comparing packing lists with physical materials, performing data entry into our inventory control software system, and conducting regular cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy. Prioritizes a safe work environment by adhering to all safety regulations, completing safety checklists, and utilizing appropriate safety equipment such as dock plates and dock restraining systems, trailer jacks, wheel chocks, and glad hand locks. Utilizes warehouse management systems (WMS) and other software applications to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory levels, order fulfillment, and stock movement. Prepares and maintains essential warehouse documentation including BOLs, order requisitions, packing slips, and discrepancy reports. Continuously identifies opportunities for improvement in warehouse processes by suggesting solutions. Maintains compliance with ISO 2015 standards by actively referring to established procedures and adapting them as needed. Contributes to a safe and organized work environment by upholding 5S principles, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to all safety protocols, procedures, and regulations. Maintains a safe and secure work environment by being vigilant and reporting any unusual, unacceptable, improper, or illegal activities observed within the warehouse. Performs other related duties as required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Education, experience, certification): High School Diploma or equivalent. One (1) year minimum of forklift experience is highly preferred. Must have or be able to immediately obtain an approved internal re-certification for driving forklift trucks.
