Kit materials for production work orders and machine builds according to priorities set by Production Control. Perform cycle counts, stock counts, and promptly report or resolve discrepancies. Maintain inventory of parts, tools, supplies, and equipment as required. Process returns for defective material back to suppliers. Handle, store, and dispose of hazardous and recyclable materials in accordance with DOT, state, and federal regulations. Assist production and other departments as needed, including support on the receiving side. Identify and recommend improvements to processes, quality, and overall efficiency. JOB SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE The Material Handler 1 is responsible for supporting all warehouse, inventory, and material movement activities that ensure accurate, efficient flow of materials throughout the facility.
