MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Effectively lead a team to execute the Order Fulfillment process which includes, but is not limited to pick orders, consolidate orders, check orders, transport consolidated orders to packing area, pack orders, label orders, transport orders to shipping dock Transports incoming and outgoing inventory to designated areas utilizing appropriate tools/vehicles to accomplish the task including but not limited to hand dolly, forklift, electric dolly, pallet jack Organize products and maintain orderly item location for efficient order fulfillment and material transfers around the warehouse Performs quality inspections on outgoing shipments Responsible for respective areas ensuring that all packages for shipping meet SLA (Service Level Agreement) Maintains a safe, clean working environment Participates in quality improvement processes Provides timely and adequate feedback/coaching to team Performs other related duties as assigned by management Regular and reliable attendance and punctuality MINOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Commitment to excellence and high standards. Strong communication skills QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB One to two years of previous Lead experience At least 4 years' experience in a warehouse Minimum of 2 years WMS management, D365 preferred (wave planning) MS Office proficient - Outlook, Excel, Word Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods Able to work well independently or as a member of a team, with minimal supervision Possess basic math skills, understand written/verbal procedures, ability to read/write/speak English Previous Scan gun capabilities a plus Forklift experience preferred. Minimum high school diploma, GED, or equivalent education WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Prolonged periods of standing/walking. Occasionally lift, carry and/or move up to 50lbs Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity Continually required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl. Overview of the role As Sample Warehouse Coordinators, we support corporate and photo studio teams across eight Williams Sonoma brands including: Williams Sonoma and Pottery Barn. We receive brand new samples directly from vendors, and store the samples in the warehouse, making sure teams can access what they need to create the right visuals for online and marketing use. Our warehouse handles everything from small items like napkins and candles to large pieces like kitchen islands and fireplaces. We operate like a library-samples come in, get checked out, returned, and eventually retired. It's a continuous cycle that keeps creative and operational teams moving.
