What you will be doing:
Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, and/or distributed
Pulls and prepares product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded
Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code
Assembles customer orders from stock, stage orders and/or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department according to OH or customer pick sheet
Loads, unloads, moves, stacks and stages products and materials using a fork lift, clamp truck or other power equipment
Requirements:
High school education or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency
Minimum 3 to 6 months experience and/or training in a warehouse environment
Previous experience operating forklift is required
Ability to follow safety regulations while operating equipment
Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to learn proper operations of warehouse equipment

OVERVIEW:
Coordinates warehouse inventory, assists in material audits, updates warehouse data base. Coordinates/schedules movement of storage inventory. Utilizes best practices following standard operating procedures and reference aids, continuously looking for areas of improvement and communicating suggestions to leadership as appropriate.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDED BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Organize and maintain inventory and storage areas.
Maintain item records and utilize reports for warehouse material status.
Ensure shipments, materials received and inventory accuracy.
Schedule pick up of materials at clients warehouse facilities.
Accurately and clearly labels containers or shelves to properly identify all materials.
Maintain monthly inventory by conducting monthly physical counts.
Fulfill and stage material orders as needed by Construction.
Keep IES inventory levels (min-max) accurate.
Maintain high standards of service with internal staff and external clients.
Check in and out equipment or tools.
Ensure compliance with OSHA procedures and practices.
Keep IES yard organized and clean.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Must possess a valid CA DL.
Must maintain warehouse compliance with OSHA regulations.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Clean California Driver's License required.
Ability to read, write, comprehend and follow instructions.
Computer literate.
Strong attention to detail.
Motivated, hard-working and dependable; attendance and punctuality are very important.
Able to perform repetitive and manual tasks on a consistent basis.
