Requirements:

SUMMARY
Assists the Regional Distribution Center (RDC) Warehouse Supervisor with developing the daily outbound workload and resource plan, distributing work assignments to warehouse employees, and working with the Warehouse Supervisor performing assignments/duties if the workload requires. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinates Warehouse Associates and warehouse activities.

As a warehouse associate your daily tasks will vary from receiving parts from our suppliers, shipping product to our customers, openings boxes, picking, packaging/repackaging parts, use a bar code scanning device, operating powered industrial equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and other tasks related to our warehouse environment. Other tasks can include:
* Safely select, lift, and move parts that vary in size and weigh up to 40 pounds from various height locations, floor level and up, on a repetitive basis.
* Working in excess of 20 - 30 feet off floor level is common.
* Loading Small Parcel Carriers using mobile equipment.
* Housekeeping - Sweeping, Moving boxes and pallets to appropriate area, Maintain cleanliness of work area.
* Sort product of various size and weight amounts and stage for proper warehouse put away.
* Confirm accuracy of received materials and verify quality and quantity of parts received.
* Replenish parts in bin and rack areas throughout warehouse.
* Concepting parts to fit location.
This position does require prolonged standing/walking for 8 or more hours based on overtime and business needs; pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 40lbs; and repetitive bending, squatting, stooping, kneeling, and reaching. Employees have the ability to cross-train by working in any area need it based on business needs and staffing levels. Overtime is based on business needs.
An ideal candidate for this position must:
* be 18 years or older to apply.
* be able to speak, read and understand basic English.
* have basic computer knowledge - knowledge of Click System a plus!
A bonus applicant will have:
* minimum 1 year applicable experience in a production environment.
* minimum 1 year experience operating mobile equipment: fork lift, order selector, reach truck.

Kelly Services is currently seeking a few Warehouse Associates -Set Up Team for our client's Whitestown, IN location.

SUMMARY
New warehouse location that needs to be set up for production.
MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Labeling the racks, starting from the bottom (ground level for the 1st 2-3 weeks) and then using scissor lift for the higher racks.
Maintains a clean work area to help ensure that merchandise remains clean and to help prevent work related injuries.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED
Must be able to work overtime when necessary.
Good math skills, problem solving skills and good organizational skills.
Scissor lift training is a 6 hours class and must not be afraid of heights
Must be able to read and write English for this position.
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with others.
Basic computer knowledge preferred.
