About this Role
FiberTel is looking for a Warehouse Specialist for our Albuquerque, NM location.
The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for receiving, issuing and maintaining all materials necessary for the operation of the storeroom/yard. They will develop a complete working knowledge of all materials and their use and application. Maintain an organized and orderly warehouse facility. What You'll Do
Responsibilities:
Receiving- inspection, documentation, vendor communication and resolution, proper packaging teardown, labeling and storage
Inventory and inventory control- maintaining records of issuances, receipts, and other movements. Keeping all inventory systems and data up to date with the physical stock, maintaining master data as required.
Picking and Staging- selecting material ordered by crews, packing safely and protectively, consolidating for ease of receiving, marking and repacking as required

Qualifications:

Role Summary
Summit's warehouse associates play a pivotal role in fulfilling our customers' needs for materials and services by receiving in new material from our vendors, picking customer's orders for will call or delivery, and participating in cycle counting and other inventory management practices. This role is Summit's entry level branch position and an excellent role to be introduced to the business and learn skills, product knowledge, and industry best practices that prepare the associate for future opportunities at Summit.
Principle Accountabilities
Pull customer tickets to fulfill orders.
Prepare orders for shipment to customers.
Load and unload Summit trucks.
Receive and stock products on a daily basis to replenish inventory.
Understand products and their capabilities and warranties.
Assist sales associates in fulfilling customer orders when necessary.
Ensure warehouse and respective outside areas are neat and clean at all times.
Maintaining safe practices and proactively upholds Summit's commitment to a safe workplace.
