    Job Description Warehouse Driver Full-time Salary: DOE Consolidated Pipe & Supply is a full line supplier, fabricator and manufacturer of pipe, valve, and fitting products and services to the natural gas, waterworks, energy and industrial sectors. Summary: The employee in this position will be responsible for making local deliveries in our warehouse vehicle, on a daily basis, between one or more locations. Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds is required. Work environment includes company vehicle and warehouse, plant or production areas with periods of continual driving/sitting and occasional standing or walking. The ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing is required. Forklift experience is a plus but not required. Must have a clean driving record and have a medical card. Pre-employment drug screening will be required post offer. Class A CDL preferred. Experience in the water/sewer utilities field is a plus. Job Functions (Duties, Responsibilities, and Requirements): The primary duties consist of (but are not limited to) the following: Follow safety rules and work procedures. Prepares receipts for load picked up. May maintain truck log, according to state and federal regulations. Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions. Position blocks and/or tie rope around items to secure cargo during transit. May load and unload truck; inspect truck equipment and supplies, such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water; and/or perform emergency roadside repairs, such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, tire chains, and spark plugs. Cleans work area or vehicle. Performs other duties as needed.
