Summary

20% Pick and Pack Customer Orders
Picks orders which are to be delivered by commercial trucker based on customer order and completes required documentation. Prepares pulled orders and places in holding area for truck pick up.
40% Load/Unload Shipments - Warehouse Material and Product
Loads and unloads truck shipments received through Distribution. Follows proper procedure to handle deliveries in order to facilitate entry into Harris inventory system. Warehouses received materials and finished product in proper Manufacturing or Distribution areas, recording location on appropriate documentation.

Position Summary
Bulk Shipping Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently loading bulk customer trucks and completing documentation for these orders shipping from the facility with adherence to all company procedures and customer expectations and helping to maintain a showcase facility at all times. Principal Duties & Responsibilities
1. Load customer bulk trucks with strict adherence to company procedures and customer specifications and expectations. This includes following safety and sampling procedures during the loading process.
2. Completes orders/bill of ladings for shipments using the ERP system (e.g., Oracle) or virtual terminal and ensures all documentation is correct before shipment is complete.
3. Operate the scale house and perform all duties including signing in and out of truck drivers, record truck loading and times on spreadsheets, and scan shipping documents onto the shared drive.
4. Assist with truck management through electronic system (e.g., TMS) and improvement initiatives.
5. Assist Logistic/Customer Service/Quality with the proper handling of order fulfillment paperwork (e.g., bill of lading and certificate of analysis to the correct customer and location).
6. Assess and document all returned goods and complete any necessary paperwork.

Position Purpose:

JOB TITLE: Forklift Driver
DEPARTMENT: Dry Storage
REPORTS TO: Service Manager or General Manager
The Forklift Driver is responsible for carrying out operations for the marina. The Forklift Driver's primary responsibility is the customer and their vessels. Every task at the marina from carefully handing the customers boats, to communicating effectively with the employee working the docks. The Forklift Driver projects a professional company image through all types of interactions. As this is a fast-paced environment, must be able to work under pressure.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places
Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance
Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
Maintains awareness of safety issues and reports them immediately to supervisor
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Prior forklift experience - Marina experience preferable.
Must have highly effective communication skills and time management skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to independently lift, carry, push, and pull up to thirty (30) pounds
Must be able to swim or be willing to wear a personal flotation device in instances of emergency
Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and squeezing & overhead reaching occasionally
Must be able to work flexible hours based on the needs of the property to include weekends and holidays as needed.
