Efficiently manage the loading, unloading, and transportation of materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment
Perform inventory cycle counts and update inventory management systems with accuracy
Assist in managing the fleet of warehouse and logistics equipment (e.g., forklifts, trailers)
Track and manage inventory to ensure accurate counts and availability
Coordinate with the logistics team to fulfill material requests, anticipate shortages, and reorder supplies as needed
Support the development of inventory metrics and reporting for continuous improvement
Oversee the receipt, inspection, and storage of materials, verifying that orders are correct and meet specifications
Ensure timely and accurate shipment of materials, including packaging, labeling, and documentation
Reconcile packing slips with purchase orders, working closely with the Logistics Coordinator for inventory and material accuracy
Mentor and lead warehouse staff, ensuring tasks are completed effectively and efficiently
Assist the Logistics Coordinator in training new team members and improving warehouse procedures
Act as a role model for junior staff, demonstrating strong work ethic, organization, and leadership
Actively participate in process improvement efforts to increase operational efficiency
Provide input on materials handling best practices and warehouse organization strategies
Collaborate with the Logistics Coordinator to implement Lean principles and cost-saving strategies
Assist the Logistics Coordinator in gathering and maintaining data for logistics reports, including inventory levels, shipping metrics, and equipment usage
Develop a working understanding of logistics software systems and processes to assist with materials flow optimization
Work closely with the Logistics Coordinator to support job site material logistics, ensuring that all materials are delivered on time and in good condition
Act as the point of contact for material requests and provide solutions to logistics challenges on-site
The individual in this role should be able and willing to travel as required by E2 Optics
What We Are Looking For
High school diploma or GED required
Additional Training in supply chain or logistics is a plus
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 required
Minimum 2 years of experience in materials handling, warehouseoperation, or logistics
Demonstrated ability to lead small teams or projects
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and basic logistics software
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Forklift certification preferred
Willingness to travel as needed to support logistics across various job site
Strong leadership and organizational skills
High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interface directly with clients

The standard work environment for this position is an indoors business office and construction environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The goal of this position is to maintain and ensure accurate inventory to support the manufacturing process while keeping inventory levels in-line with established inventory goals.

The Inventory Specialist will be working in the warehouse.
Coordinate outbound shipments and transact in ERP system accordingly
Physically receive and stock inventory into its proper warehouse location
Picking products to projects, and staging the products for Kitting
Run Shortage reports to fulfill backorders.
Manage inventory issued and returned transacted in ERP system accordingly
Conduct weekly cycle counts of inventory
Maintain consumable/shop supply stock levels for items warehoused in the stock room
Process the return of any purchased materials in conjunction with established procedures
Assist in establishment and adjustment of min and max levels for inventory items
Assist in the processing of year-end physical inventory.
Communicate and work effectively with all members of the department in addition to other internal and external contacts.
Crate and prepare large machines for shipment.
Occasionally utilize a forklift to load and unload shipments.
Other assignments as requested.
Examine shipment contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy.
Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes.
Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route materials.
International Shipment via Small Package and Freight documentation and preparation.
Strong Organization Skills
Confer or correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damaged product, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications.
Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials for shipping, using hand tools and/or power tools.
Maintain a clean and debris-free environment.
Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles by hand, pallet jack, or using forklift or other equipment.
Read, pick, mark, issue, and process “Pick List” or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments for material or equipment needs.
Identify opportunities for Continuous Improvement within the Supply Chain Group.

Places parts (ordered/returned) in their proper bin locations, updates shelf life, quantities, and serial numbers
Picks parts for requisitions and sales orders using FIFO system; verifies lot, control numbers, and quantities
Verifies part numbers, serial numbers and quantity of all physical parts received
Visually inspects parts/material for damage caused by manufacturer, packaging protocol, or shipping company
Identifies potentially unapproved/damaged parts, quarantines and reports these findings to shipper, work order lead, and/or the Chief Inspector to request confirmation and instruction on parts and materials in question.
Moves larger items utilizing two-man concept or a forklift as necessary
Experience & Competencies:
Minimum one (1) years' experience in an inventory control function
Minimum one (1) years' experience issuing inventory from stock
Minimum one (1) years' experience with a computer database program performing data entry
Candidates with skills using ERP are preferred

Our busy RV dealership needs a Lot Porter who will work with our sales department and can safely move large recreational vehicles around our property. Other duties include checking in units, show floor set up, and building maintenance.

Job Responsibilities
Move RV inventory of varying sizes safely around the dealership lot and in/out of service bays
Maintain order of RV inventory, lot, and company property
Provide support for service and sales functions as needed
Use mobile handheld devices to locate RVs, Boats, and Vehicles around the lot.
Communicate with customers, salesmen, technicians, service advisors, and other porters.
Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area.
Requirements
Must have experience operating forklifts and must be comfortable driving RVs of every size and configuration (5th wheel, bumper pull, Class-A, Class-C, etc.).
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver's License
Must possess a clean and insurable driving record
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug-screening
Compensation
$18 to $22 per hour DOE

Must be willing to work overtime and weekends on occasion
