This position is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a front-end loader to move, load, and stockpile aggregate materials such as gravel, sand, stone, or other raw materials. This position ensures material flow for production and shipping while maintaining a clean and organized yard.
Roles and Responsibilites
Operate equipment to assist with the daily production and operations of the plant.
Assist plant supervisor with the daily operations and upkeep of the plant.
Ability to inspect all areas of the plant to perform belt repairs, screen changes, bearing replacements and other necessary maintenance.
Perform welding and fabrication duties as needed.
Detect safety hazards and equipment malfunctions and respond accordingly.
Must be able to work evenings and weekends when necessary.
Perform other job duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
Proficiency in operating a diverse range of large aggregate heavy machinery, including excavators, bulldozers, and loaders.

The Loader Operator will be responsible for moving and loading vehicles with a company-provided front-end loader or forklift. In addition, the Loader Operator will be required to maintain documentation of vehicle movement around the facility. Furthermore, the Loader Operator will be responsible for the daily pre and post-trip inspections and associated documentation of their assigned machine. In addition, the operator will maintain a safe work environment and be required to follow and be held accountable to company guidelines for safe loader operation. Finally, through a thorough understanding of Copart policy, the Loader Operator will facilitate the Copart experience by offering solutions to meet customers' needs.
Ensures equipment is maintained according to company standards and customer contracts.
Operates company equipment safely.
Assists with the maintenance of company equipment and vehicles.

Sets up yard for auctions within company timelines.
Provides service to customers as needed.

Required Skills & Experience:

Position Description:The Warehouse I position will prioritize and pick product to fill orders and staging product for loading, physically moving and lifting product weighing as much as 150 pounds, organizing the warehouse stock, assisting in daily closing down of warehouse, compiling and submitting regular reports of damaged, outdated stock or supplies, over- and under-shipments, return of products to vendor, etc., assisting in periodic inventory counts, operating powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, etc.) in safe manner and maintaining an operator license, if required.
