Position Purpose / Summary The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the efficient and accurate flow of materials and finished goods within the Farmina Reidsville manufacturing facility. Warehouse Management Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping. Create and implement processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness. Ensure proper warehouse flow for productivity and safety Lead, train, and mentor warehouse staff to optimize performance and maintain high standards. Ensure accurate inventory management, including cycle counts and audits. Maintain warehouse safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations. Oversee the proper handling and storage of materials to prevent damage and loss. Coordinate with other departments, including production and logistics, to ensure smooth operations. With over 11 million pieces in inventory, you'll play a vital role in maintaining inventory integrity and ensuring an organized, efficient inventory system. Under minimal supervision, the Warehouse Stocker (Shelver) is responsible for accurately shelving incoming inventory, helping to streamline order fulfillment while minimizing damage to inventory. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and efficiency in a team-oriented environment. Candidates must be able to climb and pull ladders and carts safely throughout an 8-hour shift and regularly lift and move 15 to 25 lbs. Standing, walking, and carrying are required. What You'll Do Verify that shelved products match the receipt paperwork, including pattern name, piece type, quantity, and quality, and resolve any discrepancies. Use a scan/scan put-away device to reconcile shelving receipts with the appropriate shelf. Process problem receipts and damaged stock according to established procedures. Maintain inventory integrity by straightening and organizing shelves while shelving. Place products onto assigned shelves accurately and efficiently.
