Warehouse Machine Operator shifts include: (6:00am - 2:30pm / 2:30pm - 11:00am) starting at $16.50/hr.

Be responsible for machine operations, including loading and unloading of material, inspections, and minor adjustments of assigned equipment. The Inventory Specialist manages the flow of material and equipment (satellite dishes, our award winning receivers and DVRs and associated hardware) in and out of the warehouse supporting both our internal and external customers.

Primary responsibilities include the following:


Document the quantity and type of equipment, merchandise, and/or supplies stocked in warehouse and/or on vans as well as all of the materials needed for the different types of installations and service calls; Maintain an accurate physical count of van product, warehouse product and saleable products on a daily, weekly and/or monthly basis; Receive returned equipment, new inventory and vendor shipments, stocks the inventory in the warehouse, and prepares shipments for return to the remanufacturing department and records distributed hardware information in the computer tracking system; Complete daily inventory transactions for all product used, linking them to the proper accounts; Assist supervisor with all inventory replenishment reports and inventory related communications with other departments.


A successful Inventory Specialist will have the following:


Must possess a valid driver's license in the State you are seeking employment in, with a driving record that meets DISH's minimum safety standard; Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, and will be compensated for overtime; Employees must frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, may occasionally be required to lift up to 125 pounds; Employees must be able to safely operate warehouse equipment (pallet jack, and/or a forklift); 50% of this role is computer based, must have intermediate level MS Office experience.

The Shipyard Operator is responsible for assisting with tasks to successfully achieve the facility's overall cleanliness and day to day needs. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a group or alone, assisting other trade departments as required.


JOB EXPECTATIONS/DUTIES


Reports to Facility manager or Lead Man for daily work tasks. Remove and dispose of Black and Grey water Via Pump and Gravity Trailered Tanks, as well as 250/330-gallon totes . In addition, remove and dispose of used waste oils, oil filters, dirty rags, coolant, paints, solvents and batteries to the HAZMAT area. Ensure crew or sub-contractor signs waste logbook. Monitor fuel storage tank levels and reports level status daily. Assist in hooking up Black/Grey water connections to vessels located on the hard once side transferred. Assist in installing storm lock cables to all vessels on the hard once side transferred. Walk grounds twice daily to pick up and dispose of all miscellaneous trash present. Clean Floating Docks (Power Washing). Sand, Scrape and Paint facility equipment. Cut, weed, trim grass. Keep grounds swept, using powered sweeper or broom. Responsible for keeping following areas clean and organized at all times: HAZMAT and Tote storage, rear pipe shop, Recycle Bin, Transfer Car Pad and Rails, front Roll Off area. Limited pressure washing duties on vessels. Other duties and projects as needed.


REQUIREMENTS


High School Diploma/GED required. Ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays. Must be able to arrive at work on time with regularity. Wear and use PPE in all conditions. Operate forklift, scissor lift, man lift, sweeper, lawn mower, and leaf blower. Must have a professional, customer-oriented attitude. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Must have the ability to follow instructions. Detail oriented and ability to multitask effectively. Excellent verbal communication skills. Ability to understand and adhere to company policies.
