We are locally owned, and we are currently looking for Heavy Equipment Operators. Job Purpose and Function Heavy Equipment Operators, under general supervision, operate various equipment including graders, excavators, backhoes, blades, compactors, scrapers, front end loaders, rollers, pavers, dump trucks, skid steer loaders, etc. all heavy construction equipment. Vision: Frequent near acuity, depth perception, and color vision. Prepare and grade base material for curb installation. Load, position, and pour concrete into the curb machine. Perform daily maintenance and cleaning of equipment. Driving and operating a self-propelled curb machine to lay concrete according to design specifications. Interpreting specifications to determine the correct location, width, and shape of the curb.
