Responsible to perform a variety of specific duties, both within the store and assigned store locations, under the supervision of the Store Manager. General duties include: unloading of merchandise trucks, received DC merchandise inventory control, and preparing all merchandise for display. Maintains cleanliness and order in the warehouse at all times. Performs furniture touch ups and repairs. Ensures timely execution of moving merchandise to the sales floor. Insures inside and outside of building as well as surrounding grounds up keep and cleanliness. Maintains close communication with store managers to insure customer service consistent with W.S. Badcock standards.
Responsibilities

* Cleans and maintains showroom, office areas, rest rooms, front and back of the store, windows, light fixtures, walls, floor, carpet, dumpster area and furniture.

Qualifications
* High school diploma / GED.
* Six months retail customer service, staff supervision, and delivery experience.
* Ability to read maps, shipping / packing documents and assembly instructions.
* Ability to communicate effectively with customers, management and personnel by telephone, or through written communication; assimilate information and make decisions.
* Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities simultaneously. Effective time management skills.
* Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing situations.
* Mechanical ability to service and maintain upholstery and case goods.
* Valid, clean driver's license - eligible to be DOT certified to operate a box truck if required.
* Ability to physically and safely lift up to 75 lbs. or move 200 lbs. with a dolly or assistance of another person without injury or damage to the merchandise.

Key Responsibilities:
* During the mobilization process, the laborer will assist in offloading the dredge, the slurry pipe, dewatering equipment, and any other support equipment necessary for the mobilization of the job.
* Assist in setting the dredge into the water, cabling and assembling the machine, and fusing or bolting together the pipeline.
* Assist in setting up the dewatering equipment and/or Geo-tube placement, depending on the configuration of the job site and dewatering process.
* Assist in the dredging operations which include moving the dredge, checking and adding polymer as needed to the chemical injection system, taking periodic samples of the slurry, assisting in fueling, greasing, and checking all of the mechanical equipment, working the geotubes to make sure that they are dewatering properly, and any other job site tasks that are requested.
* Assist the dredge operator in cleaning the cutter head, bunkering fuel, and preventive or corrective maintenance to the dredge. While all operations are ongoing, laborers will have the capabilities to learn other positions such as dredge operator or equipment operator to improve their skills which will lead to promotions in positions.
* Once dredging operations are complete, the laborers will assist in cleaning all equipment, disassembling all equipment, loading all equipment, and doing final clean ups to restore the customer site.
Requirements:
* Must have some experience and/or a background in working outside in an upland or marine construction style environment. (Mining, dredging, drilling, earthworks/excavation, land clearing, offshore, under or above ground utility, heavy civil, etc.).
* Must be able to work in extreme heat, extreme cold, and on the water. Job sites range from very remote to industrial plant environments.
* Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
* Must be authorized to work in the US.
* Valid driver's license is preferred.
* Must be able to complete tasks with minimum supervision.
* This is a 100% traveling position so must be willing to travel.
* Must be able to work out of town for 21-days+ at a time, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
