General objective of the role The Inventory & Warehouse Specialist plays a key role in supporting the Purchasing, Warehouse and Operations teams with all aspects of daily warehouse processes of shipping and receiving materials and products, as well as ensuring the accuracy and availability of inventory. Support logistics coordination, including shipment tracking, customs documentation, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. Contribute to process improvements and cost-saving initiatives. Assist after-sales team with QC and specialty projects depending on availability. Qualifications High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in Logistics, or a related field is preferred. Two or more years of proven experience in inventory management, or supply chain operations. Proficiency with ERP or inventory management systems. Training on internal ERP system will be provided. Forklift certification is necessary. Certification is required within the 1st 30 days of employment, if not currently certified. Experience / Skills Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization abilities, with the ability to meet deadlines and adapt to last-minute changes. Responsibilities · Determines work assignments and material or equipment needs based on written work orders or oral instructions. · Responsible for order fulfillment, including packaging and banding orders, labeling products, and stacking finished orders on skids. · May be required to maintain all stock inventories for the warehouse daily. · Maneuvers heavy materials with the use of forklift, pallet, and hand truck as required. · Responsible for unskilled production work on the assembly line. · Loads and Unloads shipping trucks as required. · Maintains and ensures all machines and equipment are functioning according to established work standards and follows all safety guidelines and regulations. · Assists shipping area with package procedures, including label printing, as requested. · Monitors products for quality and uniformity; reports any identified problems to Supervisor/Manager in timely manner. · May be asked to stand in as a backup for Line Leads as needed. · Complies with company policies and procedures giving special attention to safety regulations. · Promotes self-improvement in assigned tasks and always maintains a clean and safe work environment by sweeping, cleaning, and removing trash. · Performs other related duties as assigned.
