    Job DescriptionDescription: Night Shift Warehouse/Forklift Operator. Monday-Friday, 5:30 PM - 4:30 AM., 1-hour lunch. Receive, store and pull product from warehouse, maintaining organization of product in the warehouse and ensure proper management of inventory. Job Responsibilities: Upon receipt of goods, verifying and ensuring the product received matches the product ordered as indicated on the purchase order, and verify the quantity of product received. Ensure all receiving documents are properly obtained and verified. Inspect the product as appropriate for any food safety concerns or damage to the product, and obtain all product information. Obtain trucker's information and make copies of the trucker's identification and freight documents. Assist with preparing tag numbers and tags for each pallet of product received and place tag numbers on multiple locations on the pallet so the product can be easily identified to a particular shipment and supplier. When necessary, enter the receipt of the product into the inventory management system, along with all product information required (country of original, supplier, supplier identification numbers, etc.) Prepare the product for transfer to the storage area or external storage facility. Assist with completing all receiving documents and provide them to quality assurance for verification. Storing raw product in the warehouse after it has been received. Picking raw product and transferring the raw product to the production area based on manufacturing work orders received. Ensuring the proper counts of the raw product when delivered to the production or processing areas, checking the raw product against the work order, making sure all products are delivered and signed for by the line or processing operators. Transferring finished goods from the packaging area to the finished goods storage area, verifying quantities and tracking information and documenting as appropriate on the work order. Transferring finished goods from the processing area back to the bulk storage area, verifying quantities and tracking information and documenting as appropriate on the work order. Ensuring all inventory is maintained in proper locations and is stacked properly. Ensuring all performance and safety standards are met at the storage facility, including proper temperature controls, cleaning guidelines, and proper procedures for transferring and storing product. Reporting any issues identified to the Warehouse Supervisor. Verifying inventory quantities as required by the Production Coordinator and/or the Accounting Department. Assisting with the analysis of discrepancies in inventory quantities. Notification to the Production Coordinator of any low or excessive quantities of product in the warehouse. Pull product to satisfy sales orders based on the bill of lading provided and stage product for pickup by customers or freight companies. Load the product onto the trucks for transportation to the customers and confirm quantity loaded with the truck driver, and have the truck driver sign for the bill of lading for the transfer of product. All staff must report any known food safety issues to supervisor. All staff has the authority to place on hold any products and/or equipment that do not meet Texas Star Nut and Food Co., Inc. food safety standards. Other duties as assigned. Requirements: Minimum Requirements: Must be punctual and dependable. Must be able to work independently and with a team. Able to perform basic mathematics operations. Must be able to comply with all safety and cleanliness requirements. Abilities Required: Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Ability to climb ladders/steps and work on platforms.
