What you'll be doing:

Coordinate material requests for all departments and document inventory
Generate bills of lading and schedule pickups and deliveries
Conduct cycle counts of finished goods inventory
Report incoming packages to appropriate department/end-user
Working knowledge and experience in inventory management
Requirements to Assure Success:
Familiarity with pic orders, Fed Ex and UPS shipping links, ability to read and understand stock status reports and material variance reports

Examine freight to determine loading sequences.
Assist Warehouse Manager with morning prep inspection of forklifts.
Assist Warehouse Manager with inspection of equipment for wear and for conformance of safety specifications.
Shares in minor repair work and housekeeping responsibilities for the work area.
Assist Warehouse Manager with preparation of morning start up duties. Ensure that trucks are loaded correctly with deliveries and have pads, dollies, and packing materials available for crews.
Assist Warehouse Manager with inspection of storage vaults to ensure they include 22 to 24 clean pads and at least 10 clamps on the door.
Inspect and repair storage vaults.
Assist Warehouse Manager with bay inspection and warehouse cleanliness. Removing trash and debris daily. Includes aligning storage vaults and lift vans within each row on yellow lines.
Assist Warehouse Manager with the inspection of vehicles to ensure that all items are properly removed and located within the warehouse.
Knowledge of different classifications of storage. (SIT, NTS, Domestic, International, State Department, COD, Private Storage, Baggage)
Assist Warehouse Manager with SIT intake, including wrapping, palletizing, trailer loading.
Assist Warehouse Manager with warehouse releases to include unwrapping and staging the shipment for the drivers. Ensure boxes are separated from furniture and with all stickers facing forward.
Assist Warehouse Manager to repair and prep lift vans for reuse. Holes are to be patched. Door repaired to ensure proper fitting. All foreign nails are removed. Inside lift vans should be swept clean. Ensure that no mildew is present. Outside must have two bands and all internal seems must be caulked. Each lift van must have 9 feet in the bottom.
Assist Warehouse Manager with preparation of State Department lift vans to meet State Department codes. Lift vans must have plastic lining including the inside of the door. Bingo Sheets must be attached to the front of the door identifying its content. Each lift van must be secured with 4 each 3" metal bands. Door and right side must be stenciled with the correct markings.
Clean and organize trailers. Ensuring that all pads are folded and strapped to the wall, all trash is removed, debris is swept clean, and equipped with one ladder and one walk board.
Ensure that flatbed trucks are equipped with tarps for inclement weather.
Must be able to work well within a team setting.
Occasional assistance with job sites.
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED.
A forklift license.
Proven experience working as a warehouse helper.
Sound knowledge of standard warehouse practices.

* Performing daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks to ensure machine longevity, including but not limited to lubrication, cleaning, as well as coolant and tool replacement.
* Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
* Other Duties as assigned.
We are looking for someone who:
* Pays attention to detail.
* Is self-motivated.
* Possesses a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
* Has experience with use of calipers, micrometers, indicators, set up blocks as well as a variety of gauges.
* Has a willingness to help and fill in wherever needed.
* Is able to provide clear and concise communication across multiple platforms.
* Possesses strong analytical, communication and computer skills.
Physical Requirements:
* Able to move up to 50lbs.
* Possesses manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately.
* Can wear PPE.
* Comfortable standing for long periods of time, up to and exceeding 60 minutes.
* Is capable of making repetitive movements including, but not limited to, sitting, squatting and walking up and down stairs.
