OPPORTUNITY
The primary purpose of this position is to address the operational needs such as handling, manufacturing and loading of industrial chemicals to meet customer demand. Through the environmentally safe operations of the facility, in effective and efficient manner, Production Operator plays an important role in helping Hydrite Chemical Company supply its customers with a quality product in a timely fashion. Production Operator always strives for continuous improvement in his performance to achieve a goal of 100% satisfaction for both internal and external customers.
***HOURS FOR THIS POSITION ARE FRIDAY - SUNDAY ALTERNATING THURSDAYS 7PM-7:30AM. *
Training will take place on 1st shift during the week for 2-4 months, but you'll still receive the shift premium during that time.
Primary responsibilities include:
The following responsibilities for the Production Department are general in nature. Responsibilities will vary among employees based on the area of the plant they may be working. The Production Supervisor will assign any individual responsibilities that may be needed.
All containers are to be inspected inside and out prior to filling. (Read and follow ContainerInspection and filling S.O.P.)
All reactors are to be cleaned prior to manufacturing products. (Follow GMP SOP's for Recordkeeping and Manufacturing Equipment Cleaning and Inspection.)
Prescribed safety equipment must be used and worn while filling and mixing (see Production Worksheet and PPE Certifications).
Each employee is responsible for ensuring the product meets all quality standards before product leaves the production area (this includes filtering of liquid products.).
All Production Department employees are responsible for the safety and cleanliness of the production areas.
All tank trucks must be inspected prior to loading and unloading. (Read and follow Tank Truck Bulk Loading and Tank Truck Unloading SOP's).
All paperwork must be reviewed before loading or unloading. (Read and follow Tank TruckLoading, Tank Truck Unloading, and Railcar Unloading SOP's).
Production schedules and Batch Records are to be reviewed to ensure correct raw materials are used and order of addition is followed.
Perform tote cleaning per procedure and maintain records for product service, tote testing in the prism tote tracking system.
Perform weekly area (as designated by supervisor) inspections, complete filter log, and all other logs, complete and hand in inspection checklist at required time.
Review Catalyst weekly for training requirements and have all training and sop's reviewed by the due date.
Attend all required training when scheduled unless absent from work.
Uphold Hydrite's Standard of Excellence through a continuous commitment to maintain quality facilities and provide quality products and services to internal and external customers
Perform all duties outlined in relevant SOPs and all other duties to be assigned.
Participate Emergency Response Team, RCRA, regulatory, health & safety and process training activities as required.
Complete Maximo service requests for equipment identified as needing repair.
REPORTING STRUCTURE
This position reports to the Manufacturing Manager.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL CRITERIA
Must be self-motivated and be able to work independently.
Must have communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to read, write, and speak English.
Valid driver's license required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to stand or walk up to 12 hours per shift.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. multiple times per shift, lift 100lbs. on occasion.
Must be able to climb steps and ladders up to 40 feet high several times daily
Ability to wear a respirator for up to 4 hours a day without restrictions. Please refer to the SOP for facial hair guidelines.
Ability to meet DOT vision requirements.

Job Summary:
The Baker is responsible for ensuring that the product coming out of the oven is properly baked and meets set specifications. Inform mixing supervisor of any product not meeting specification. Keeping work area clean and organized.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Check production schedule for products being run on assigned oven(s).
Set up the oven for the item being produced per prescribed procedures.
Obtain the correct product color sample.
Make raw dough weight adjustments as needed.

SUMMARY: The purpose of this position is to operate and maintain all areas of production in the flour mill under the direction of the Head Miller/Shift Miller. In this role, you will help sustain Mennel's tradition of excellence established in 1886 as well as support our food safety programs and mission to reliably deliver superior quality, uniformity, and service.
PRIMARY WORK SHIFT: This position works a 12-hour schedule that rotates days of the week, 7AM-7PM. You must be able to work weekends and potentially some holidays.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without accommodation.
Follow all food and personal safety rules and regulations in respect to GMP's, OSHA, HACCP, the Global Food Safety Initiative, the US FDA Food Safety Modernization Act as stated in the FS&Q Statement, and sanitation guidelines as set forth by the company as listed in Corporate Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) and attend all required training sessions. Maintain the department/facility in an everyday audit ready condition.
Coordinates with Head Miller/ Miller to process the transfer of all flour products per quality department and customer specifications.
Performs quality analysis and food safety checks for flour transfers.
Assists Head Miller/ Shift Miller with mill changes and daily operations.
Assists with mill equipment repairs and routine maintenance, as needed/required.
Maintains a clean and safe working environment by following SOPs and master sanitation schedule.
Attend all training sessions, as required.
Perform sampling and testing of wheat and water and make appropriate adjustments to wheat cleaning and tempering equipment to meet specifications and standards set by the Shift Miller.
Assist with training of Mill Utility personnel.
Responsible for performing the essential duties and responsibilities of the Head Miller/ Shift Miller in their absence.
Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

JOB SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Material Handler is responsible for loading Dried Distillers Grains, Bioethanol, POET Distillers Corn Oil, POET Wet Distillers, Distillers Syrup, or Biomass into trucks and rail cars. Team members in this position use mechanical equipment, meters or scales as well as computers and software equipment when loading products to ensure a timely delivery and product safety. Based on training provided, the Material Handler may also complete the grading of grain products or biomass.
Load trucks and rail cars with feed and fuel products of POET bioprocessing facilities using mechanical equipment, meters and scales as required to ensure timely delivery of products.
Assist with grain product or biomass and supply truck unloading functions.
Complete the grading of grain products or biomass using training provided.
Operate large machinery and equipment; may be required to obtain DOT certification.
Maintain a clean work area.
Enter bins adhering to POET's confined space procedures.
Complete HAZMAT paperwork when necessary.
Learn, maintain, and operate all processes associated with the grains operation, including repair and maintenance.
Remove, install, rebuild, lubricate, and clean all equipment associated with the grains process.
Perform preventative maintenance tasks as directed.

Job Responsibilities
Operate assigned stacker equipment.
Conduct change overs on stacker equipment.
Cut new conveyor belts and install them accordingly.
Make adjustments to the line as needed to ensure within quality standards.
Bands skids by following the banding standard operating procedure.
Flip skids when needed.
Keep all supplies full, including cardboard corners, banding supplies, etc..
Comply with area housekeeping initiatives.
Communicate with coater operator and QC.
Perform required quality checks and inspect sheets for quality issues.
Perform preventive maintenance activities on stacker end equipment, including greasing line.
Cover for breaks.
Perform resort activities including and not limited to running the resort line and sorting HFI's.
Ensures all equipment, guards, and safety devices are in place at all times, and follows safe work procedures and safety rules.
Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS *
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
3+ years working experience in a manufacturing setting (high-speed manufacturing is preferred).
Effective record keeping skills and the ability to focus on details.
Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks at the same time.
Effective and proven communication skills (both written and verbal) working in a team environment.
Must be able to work a rotating shift schedule.
Must be able to work daily overtime including on Saturdays and Sundays when needed.
Must have the ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds on occasion and regularly stand, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. This position may also require climbing or balancing.
