A Day in the Life:

The impact you'll make:

Review shipping or receiving orders and requests for movement of materials and products. Manage inventory accuracy through monitoring daily warehouse activities, cycle counts, stock takes, and audits to verify results.
Develop work schedules and assign work to subordinates. Supervise staff, manage workload, and provide effective guidance and direction. May train, evaluate employee performance, and recommend or initiate promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.
Review work processes, recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product or service, and suggest changes in working conditions to increase efficiency.
Provide leadership support by establishing clear expectations and demonstrating high standards of work practices and safety-conscious behavior.
Communicate with other shift supervisors and warehousemanager regarding the progress of the shift and any outstanding issues.
Keep accurate records, and prepare and submit required paperwork
Who you are:
Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of -- Business Administration, or related field of study
Additional Experience Desired: Between 3-5 years of experience in Warehouse supervisor role
Computer Skills Desired: Proficiency with Microsoft Office. SAP experience preferred
Preferred Certifications: OSHA Forklift Certification a plus
