The mission of the Johnston County Public Utilities Department is to provide citizens of Johnston County efficient, affordable and friendly services of water supply, wastewater collection and treatment, reclaimed water and stormwater management. We are actively hiring for a Water Transmission & Distribution Manager. This position is full-time and requires response after hours, on holidays and weekends. This position plans, directs, and oversees the operation, maintenance and repair of the County's water transmission and distribution system. The position serves as or oversees the Operator in Responsible Charge (ORC) of the County's water transmission and distribution system.
