Key Responsibilities: • Full ownership of daily shipping operations - ensuring 100% of orders leave on time, in full, every day. • Lead, coach, and scale a best-in-class shipping team (techs, supervisors, support) with a military-like attention to detail and discipline. • Oversee integration and optimization of shipping software, hardware (scanners, sorters, printers), and platforms (FedEx, UPS, USPS, etc.). • Build and maintain real-time dashboards and KPI trackers for throughput, order accuracy, daily volume, and error rates. • Identify process gaps and rapidly implement lean improvements to reduce waste, increase speed, and maintain regulatory compliance. • Collaborate with Fulfillment and Pharmacy Ops teams to optimize packaging, staging, and cut-off workflows. • Champion accountability: daily huddles, performance reviews, corrective action plans, and incentive tracking. Qualifications: • Has 5+ years of experience managing high-volume shipping/logistics (ideally 25,000+ packages/day). • Comes from a production, logistics, distribution, or manufacturing background (think: Amazon, FedEx, UPS, large-scale fulfillment centers). • Speaks the language of KPIs, SLAs, throughput, cost per shipment, takt time, and cycle time fluently. • Is tech-savvy: capable of using and optimizing our in-house software stack and/or introducing external tools to improve visibility, scheduling, and output. • Leads with energy, clarity, and high standards - knows how to get buy-in from their team and drive continuous improvement.
