Monitors attendance, timeliness and breaks of all employees. Approves employee timesheets in the payroll system. Monitors, manages, and ensures training is being completed for all new hires and existing employees. Works professionally with all departments and is regarded as a leader to the team. Inventory Accuracy & Control Maintains precise and reliable inventory records through continuous monitoring and advanced tracking systems. Reduces inventory errors and accounts for accuracy of all inventories. Minimizes production delays caused by unforeseen stockings or miscounts. Prevents excessive capital from being tied up in redundant or obsolete inventory. Conducts regular cycle counts and comprehensive annual physical inventories. Utilizes inventory management system for real-time tracking and reporting. Identifies and addresses the root causes of inventory discrepancies by implementing lasting solutions. Ensure shipments and inventory transactions are accurate. Completes a monthly physical inventory audit with CFO accurately and timely. Maintain items records, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse status. Improve raw material and finish goods inventory visibility to the company related departments. Finish other tasks assigned by the supervisor. Safety & Compliance Management Upholds stringent safety protocols and ensures strict adherence to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards and other industry-specific regulations. This commitment fosters a secure working environment, protects employees, and significantly mitigates legal and financial risks associated with workplace incidents. Conducts recurrent department safety training sessions for all warehouse staff, ensuring full compliance and awareness. Ensures proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials according to strict guidelines. Investigates all incidents and accidents, implementing corrective and preventive actions. Manages and overseas routine equipment maintenance, fork trucks and inspection schedules for safety compliance. Position Summary The Inventory and Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the daily coordination of personnel and processes related to receiving, warehousing, and inventory within the Fulton Plant. This role provides supervision to associates in a multi-zoned, multi-shift department to meet customer demand. The Inventory and Warehouse Supervisor drives improvement in the areas of productivity, safety, quality, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency of deliveries. This position is also responsible for new equipment planning/floor layout/cost reduction initiatives. Essential Job Duties: * Responsible for the execution against KPIs related to logistics (safety, quality, cost, delivery, productivity, and morale) * Maintain corporate supply chain procedures and processes to ensure achievement of related KPIs at multiple locations. * Manages demand against warehouse inventory to meet internal and external customer requirements. * Investigates and identifies root causes for inventory inaccuracies, reconciles inventory balances, and identifies process improvements to reduce or eliminate specific inventory discrepancies. Works within team and across team to implement change. * Ensures inventory storage locations are organized and items are properly marked and identified * Responsible for local parts shipping, tracking and coordination. * Drive safety initiatives and strategy for area of responsibility and implement improvement plans. Ensure ongoing operator safety and a safe work environment by promptly addressing safety hazards, minimizing workplace accidents, and actively involving associates in the continuous improvement of safety. Ensures staff follows and practices all established safety rules * Work with EHS to ensure storage is within environmental standards. * Identify opportunities for cost savings through lean practices such as inventory reduction, flow day reduction, cost of shipping and warehousing. Demonstrate the responsibilities of a lean leader and drive a lean culture in the facility. Ensure associates are engaged and are participating in continuous improvement efforts. * Facilitate the Talent Management Process to create high-performing teams and a pipeline of ready leadership. Lead goal setting, coaching, counseling, mentoring, and career development processes with associates. Identify training and needs and create a training strategy to meet customer expectations. * Organizing warehouse, label goods, plot routes, and process shipments. * Updating and evaluating metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements Required: * High school diploma with a minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory management or a related field within a manufacturing environment. * Proven experience (5+ years) in a role directly responsible for inventory control, including reconciliation and accuracy, in a manufacturing plant. * ERP/SAP experience, with ability to train and coach others on proper inventory-related transactions. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerBI and Excel. * Strong understanding of MRP demand planning and how planned orders drive material pull from warehouses and subcontracting vendors. * Ability to identify, investigate, and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner, following approved adjustment procedures. * Firm grasp of cycle count processes, with the ability to lead and train others in compliance with Timken's cycle counting standards Preferred: * Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field with 2+ years of experience in a related field. * Leadership or supervisory experience. * Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting with frequent material movements between production and warehouse areas. * Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma principles related to inventory and warehouse management. * Experience supporting internal and external audits related to inventory accuracy and material traceability The yearly compensation for this role is $62,080 - $85,360, is commensurate on experience and education, and could pay more or less than the posted range.
