You will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of patients experiencing mental health crises or other vulnerable situations, offering reassurance, security, and professionalism throughout their journey. Transport Readiness: Answer calls promptly and be prepared to deploy as needed
Vehicle Operation: Pick up and safely operate company transport vehicles
Patient Transport: Escort and secure patients requiring safe medical transportation
Compassionate Care: Provide empathy, reassurance, and conversation to ease patient stress
Safety & Security: Ensure the well-being of transport patients through active monitoring
Crisis Management: Recognize and respond appropriately to patient distress or escalation
Restraint & Control: Safely and effectively restrain patients if necessary for their safety
Long-Distance Driving: Complete extended transport routes safely and efficiently
Collaboration: Work alongside medical professionals, law enforcement, and facility staff
Incident Documentation: Record and report any transport-related incidents or concerns
Requirements
Employment Eligibility: Provide 2 forms of ID and eligibility/authorization to work in the US
Age: 21+
Driving: Valid Driver's License for 3+ years with no major accidents or incidents
Education: High School diploma or GED
Flexible Scheduling: Remain available for transport assignments on short notice
Professional Appearance: Maintain a clean and presentable uniform at all times
Attitude: Maintain a calm, compassionate, non-judgmental
Language Skills: Fluent in English speaking, reading/writing. Spanish is a bonus
Screening: Ability to pass a urine analysis (UA) and criminal background check
Transportation: Reliable transportation to and from work
Tech Competency: Basic technology skills and ownership of a working smartphone and accessible email account
Physical Ability: Can stand, sit, walk, jog, crouch, bend over, and carry 50lbs in a variety of weather conditions and work environments
$17 - $18 an hour
