Position Summary
The Marketplace Logistics Manager will play a key role in building and managing relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and vendors that utilize SHEIN's platform to deliver products. This individual will work closely with internal teams, such as business development, merchant management, and product management, to optimize logistics processes and improve overall fulfillment performance. Job Responsibilities
Logistics Partner Management
Build, manage, and develop relationships with 3PLs that utilize SHEIN's vendor services to support marketplace operations.
Conduct regular performance reviews with logistics partners, evaluating service quality, cost-effectiveness, and on-time deliveries.
Provide guidance and education to logistics partners and 3PLs on U.S. transportation compliance standards and regulations.
Fulfillment Solution Development
Partner with the seller business development team to identify and implement efficient logistics solutions tailored for marketplace operations.
Optimize logistics and shipping models to minimize fulfillment costs for merchants while ensuring service quality and timeliness.
Performance Optimization and Issue Management
Collaborate with the business development team to identify and resolve logistics performance challenges, such as delays and quality issues.
Develop and execute improvement strategies to enhance fulfillment performance and improve the customer experience.
Monitoring and Analytics
Work closely with the data team to develop logistics monitoring systems, dashboards, and performance scorecards for tracking partner and platform-level efficiency.
Conduct regular business and performance reviews with logistics vendors, leveraging data insights to identify opportunities for improvement.
Creating Merchant Fulfillment Standards
Work collaboratively with the Merchant Management and Governance teams to establish clear and standardized fulfillment and delivery criteria for all merchants and vendors.
Mitigate risks related to pickup and transportation by establishing and enforcing operational protocols and clearly defined expectations for logistics vendors and merchants.
System Optimization (TMS)
Partner with the Transport Management System (TMS) Product Manager team to continuously enhance and adapt TMS capabilities to meet the evolving logistics needs of the marketplace.
Ensure the system effectively supports order allocation, seamless information flow, and transparency in logistics data across the platform.
Job Requirements
A Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
6+ years of proven experience in logistics vendor management, logistics operations, or logistics procurement. Prior experience in developing and managing marketplace or e-commerce logistics solutions is highly preferred.
Demonstrated expertise in analyzing logistics data and implementing data-driven strategies to optimize supply chain performance.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong ability to interpret complex data and turn insights into impactful, actionable outcomes.
Outstanding stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and build strong partnerships with vendors and internal teams.
Familiarity and hands-on experience with Transport Management Systems (TMS) or other logistics data systems is highly desirable.
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Chinese is preferred and will be considered an advantage for the role.

ABOUT THE POSITION:
The Transportation Manager oversees daily transportation execution, carrier relationships, and delivery service across our retail network. This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day logistics of moving goods efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively from manufacturing sites and distribution centers to retailers, wholesalers, or end consumers. The ideal candidate has strong experience in CPG logistics, excellent carrier management skills, and a proven ability to drive performance through KPIs and cost-control strategies.
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm, this position is a hybrid 4 days in office and Friday's remote.
WAGE: Salary range for this position is $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 annually with a 15% annual bonus subject to all required taxes and withholdings.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement transportation strategies aligned with overall supply chain goals.
Manage carrier relationships, negotiating contracts and service levels as needed.
Select, negotiate with, and manage carriers, freight forwarders, and 3PLs.
Monitor carrier performance and compliance with contracts and service level agreements (SLAs).
Coordinate with warehousing, customer service, and demand planning teams to align transportation needs with business goals.
Track transportation spend and identify opportunities for cost savings without sacrificing service quality.
Use TMS (Transportation Management System) and data analytics to support decision-making and efficiency.
Monitor KPIs such as on-time delivery, cost per mile, driver productivity, and safety metrics. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and service excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
5+ years of transportation or logistics management experience, ideally in a CPG environment.
Experience working with major retailers or e-commerce channels (e.g., Costco, Walmart, Amazon, Target).
Experience managing inbound or outbound logistics in the food & beverage and/or transportation industry.
Experience with TMS software (e.g., Oracle, E2open)
Strong understanding of freight modes (LTL, FTL, intermodal), carrier networks, and 3PL partnerships.
Proficiency in data analysis and transportation KPIs (OTIF, freight cost per lb, carrier scorecards, etc.).
Knowledge of freight claims process.
Working knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations; import/export experience a plus.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Skilled in freight pricing negotiation.
Proficiency with TMS, fleet management systems, and data analysis tools

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health
Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.
Responsibilities:
Direct and manage warehouse associates to achieve timely distribution and receipt of product and motivate employees to ensure that predetermined productivity and quality standards are achieved
Monitor productivity, adhere to budgetary guidelines, and work to meet Distribution Center objectives and operational goals while maintaining standards pertaining to quality
Responsible for the daily scheduling of the work force to insure proper staffing to select, replenish, restock, locate and ship merchandise in a productive and cost efficient manner
Hold staff accountable for conducting work in a safe manner, ensure that warehouse personnel have safe, efficient equipment to perform distribution functions and provide support for a culture that strives toward continuous improvement in Environmental, Health and Safety
Coordinate maintenance of equipment, guiding both preventive maintenance and coordinating all necessary repairs
Recommend and implement programs, policies, and strategies to increase production and efficient space utilization
Ensure quality service is provided to the customers and ensures prompt follow-through on customer correspondence, complaints and inquiries related to shipment of merchandise and stock-on-hand; Develops and implement modifications and innovations to improve the quality of service to our customers
Adhere to budget requirements and works toward obtaining objectives and division goals
Responsible for employee development, which includes training, coaching, counseling and performance appraisals
Maintains general responsibility for disciplinary process in the area of counseling, oral and written warnings; insures a productive work climate in the warehouse operation
Identifies opportunities to improve efficiency while providing flawless transactions and services; manage monetary assets and other resources to optimize cost effectiveness
Prepares ad hoc reports as necessary
Insures that accurate attendance/PTO records and scheduling are maintained
Responsible for Cardinal Health compliance and regulations concerning OSHA, DEA, FDA, State and local authorities; primary facility contact for QRA compliance and initiatives
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred; Bachelor's degree preferred
1-2 years related experience
Strong communication skills
Leadership skills
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to relocate for future growth, preferred
Working knowledge of Six Sigma process improvement preferred
Medical product experience beneficial
