You will be responsible for all aspects of a 30,000 square foot facility, including PICK AND PACK, B2B, managing receiving, shipping, warehousing, and distribution operations. The business is SKU intensive and B2B, and PICK AND PACK is required. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, sophisticated, “lead by example” professional who will willingly roll up their sleeves when necessary while exhibiting a significant work ethic. Responsibilities:
Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system
Ensure product is stored and recorded in proper locations for order process
Maintain inventory of and order all production supplies
Manage a team of 30 - 40; review and lead while holding accountable
Maintain warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
Motivate, organize, and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Negotiate rates with common carrier representatives, international shipping companies, and production supply companies
Supervise and schedule production line for optimal output

Work with Accounting Department to dispute Chargebacks due to alleged discrepancies in Vendor Shipping Guidelines
Required Qualifications:
Experience with Pick and Pack
Minimum of 7 years as a Warehouse Manager
Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices

Previous experience with WMS software

Overview
The Night Shift Manager is a key leader position in the distribution and operations organization reporting directly to the Operations Director. Requires strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as knowledge of warehouse operations to include inventory control, shipping and receiving operations in a Direct Sales organization. Preference for warehouse automation experience (especially Knapp) and union environment is a plus but not required. Mid-shift Manager directs the mid shift and returns aspects of operations, ensuring the highest level of customer service from the warehouse to customers while improving productivity through continuous improvement in fill rate, throughput, and cost.Responsibilities
Planning- Ability to identify and plan for staffing requirements based on knowledge and forecasting for OSR and Returns. Has the ability to make decisions based on experience in shipping, receiving and inventory control. Ensures that procedures and processes match requirements of the operation. Capability to train and implement new technology and processes while maintaining productivity
Continuous Improvement - Understanding urgency to reach daily goals during the operation. Learning from trends to Develop and Execute with the management team and frontline correct standard operating procedures and performance-based metrics to drive results through continuous improvement programs
Building an inclusive culture - Individual and collective accountability, reward and recognition programs, communication designed to develop the frontline employees and build a desirable place to work.
Collaboration- Partnering with Night and Day operations managers, delivery, and Maintenance functions to identify areas of opportunities for improvements to fill rate, throughput, and reduction of cost.
Safety- Direct programs to ensure the safety of all personnel, equipment and property. Provide safety instruction to personnel as needed. Report all work-related injuries immediately. Provide immediate medical attention to injured employees as necessary. Ensure compliance with appropriate government regulations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree ( Logistics management, Mechanical engineer, or Business Management
5+ years of senior supervision level experience within a distribution warehouse
7+ years of operation supervision experience
Preferred: Warehouse automation experience
Functional system understanding in WMS, Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint
Ability to work non-traditional business hours including evenings, nights and weekends only when required
Strong Communication skills - verbal, presentation, writing

Professional Appearance: Maintain a clean and presentable uniform at all times
Attitude: Maintain a calm, compassionate, non-judgmental
Language Skills: Fluent in English speaking, reading/writing. Spanish is a bonus
Screening: Ability to pass a urine analysis (UA) and criminal background check
Transportation: Reliable transportation to and from work
Tech Competency: Basic technology skills and ownership of a working smartphone and accessible email account
Physical Ability: Can stand, sit, walk, jog, crouch, bend over, and carry 50lbs in a variety of weather conditions and work environments
