We are seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to lead all aspects of warehouse operations, including safety, inventory management, staffing, and facility maintenance. This role is responsible for setting operational strategies, achieving key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensuring compliance with safety programs and corporate policies. Job Summary The Transportation Officer acts as a courier for the building, satellite offices, and County partners delivering various items to the intended location. The Transportation Officer will also operate and post all mail for the Court. Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty listed below. Transports juveniles to and from institutions, group homes, private placement, hospital, medical appointments and medical runs, and out of state institutions. Responsible for medicine runs to pharmacies. Transports Judges and other Court personnel to functions outside the Court. Delivers administrative paperwork/documentation/notices as needed (e.g. to homes of employees). Maintains trip logs accounting for mileage, time usage, and vehicle destination. Performs other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities Has no direct supervisory responsibility for staff members. Equipment Operated Standard office equipment and office technology such as copy machines, personal computers and telephones; automobile. Confidential Data All court-related information regarding hearings, etc. that the employee may come in contact with by working in the facility. Working Conditions While performing duties of this job, the employee frequently sits, walks and stands. Subject to large amounts of vehicle time. Usual Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit, to speak clearly, and to hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. This position is also subject to large amounts of vehicle time and must be able capable to pass the eye test to operate a motor vehicle. Knowledge, Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Working knowledge of vehicle operation and map reading; ability to work with troubled youth; must be familiar with security and safety measures pertaining to the transportation of youth. Prefer a current Chauffeur's license. This position may require overtime on short notice. Full-time work hours will vary with work load. Education and/or Experience High school diploma or equivalent AND Two (2) years of driving experience. Preferably two years experience working with youth or problematic adolescents. Licensure or Certification Requirements Must possess a valid driver's license and continuously maintain automobile insurance in compliance with state law, with a driving record acceptable to the Court's current policies. Any position which requires operating a motor vehicle as an essential duty of responsibility of the position will be subject to a driving record check through the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles. Applicants are required to provide their driver license number upon request. Applicants who possess a driver's license from a state other an Ohio, or those applicants who have possessed an out-of-state driver's license at any time during the five years prior to review, must provide a certified copy of his or her out-of-state driving history for at least the five years prior to the review of the applicant's driving qualifications.
