We are actively hiring for a Water Transmission & Distribution Manager. This position is full-time and requires response after hours, on holidays and weekends. This position plans, directs, and oversees the operation, maintenance and repair of the County's water transmission and distribution system. Work involves managing staff, budgets and infrastructure, while ensuring system operation is performed in strict accordance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations. The position serves as or oversees the Operator in Responsible Charge (ORC) of the County's water transmission and distribution system. This position ensures water quality is maintained and that customers receive water at adequate flow and pressure. Key responsibilities include supervising staff, managing required water quality sampling, maintaining records, managing emergency responses, training staff, managing contractors for system repairs, and capital project planning with engineering staff.
