Job Summary:
The Inbound WarehouseManager will assist with overall warehouseoperations including achieving goals in safety, Inventory control, service levels, damages, costs, personnel, and staffing. The WarehouseManager must understand all operations of Receiving and Inventory control. This position will be responsible for developing and overseeing a department of personnel of 20-35 warehouse associates, including supervisors and leads. The WarehouseManagers goal is to achieve maximum performance and control of a combination of manual and automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage and shipment of product. This will include collaborating and establishing relationships with other departments, customers and vendors in order to maintain an efficient and accurate flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products to a variety of customers internally and externally.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintains a personal development plan for everyone who reports to them, while assisting the Supervisors and Leads in the people development efforts. Use a receptive approach to communicate daily, assist with obstacles, and help build comradery.
Plans, prepares, and controls the Warehouse associates scheduling to meet the Receiving and Shipping needs in conjunction with the Warehouse needs, including time off requests.
Monitors and maintains the activities of their employees; specifically breaks, meal periods, and employee attendance in general to adhere to daily schedules.
Prepare all documentation for employees (ex. Coaching's, written, suspensions, performance evaluations…) based on recent activities.
Create an inspiring team environment with a culture of open communication by listening to team members' feedback and resolving any issues or conflicts.
Set clear team goals, Individual delegate tasks appropriately, monitor team performance and report on metrics, specifically but not limited to pick rates, miss picks and scan rates.
Attend daily huddles with the shift Supervisor(s).
Collaborate with Human Resources to recruit, train, and develop warehouse and managerial staff to build an effective and stable organization capable of executing operating plans and achieving both divisional and corporate objectives.
Additional duties as assigned.
Aggregate, analyze and report the operations results/metrics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis and make recommendations to improve future performance, review position requisition control, alter budgets accordingly, develop cost-reduction strategies and any other needs that may arise.
Maintain a high level of visibility with employees. Including but not limited to monitoring through all areas of the warehouse.
Experience and Education Required:
Knowledge of warehouse procedures.
Knowledge of Inventory Control procedures.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Strong leadership skills: train, motivate, direct the work of others.
Strong organizational skills: attention to detail, meet deadlines and work in a production-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Direct the operations of distribution, packaging, and transportation to achieve company objectives and meet customer expectations.
Evaluate overall operations and develop short and long-term goals to meet organizational objectives.
