Job Description OPERATIONS MANAGER The Operations Manager is responsible for continuous improvement in production key measure performance and customer satisfaction for the plant. Assures adequate staffing and training to execute production and operational plans. Complete the departmental training and development plan annually. Complete the annual performance review of each direct report and review any indirect reports for each team member in the Operations Department. Leads operations function within their area of responsibility, providing direct leadership to all Operations staff. Supervise the operations of production personnel to ensure all manufacturing processes are running within budget and to the schedule. Be continually aware of customer shipping requirements, work schedules, and quality levels required to meet these schedules. Ensure that quality is maintained and that costs are held to a minimum. Manage the Production Superintendents and/or Supervisors on daily schedules, staffing and production attainment. Oversee the hiring and training of technical production employees to ensure a competent workforce. Assures adequate staffing and training to execute operational plans.
