Responsibilities:
Supervises, hires, trains, evaluates and motivates a team of fuel transport drivers; manages the day-to-day activities of Company drivers and transports
Directs and coordinates the activities of transport personnel that are responsible for loading, transporting, and offloading of product
Ensures the safe and efficient delivery of light products to the Company's customer

Collaborates with regional dispatch centers to coordinate the dispatch of Company transport drivers and/or common carriers to marketing outlets, consumer accounts, and bulk plants to affect maximum efficiency and savings on deliveries
Conducts continuous analyses of vehicle and driver assignments and analyzes scheduling for possible resource optimization
Keeps abreast of Federal, state and local laws and regulations related to transport of hazardous materials, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
Responds to and initiates initial responses to emergencies, such as motor vehicle accidents, involving corporate transport personnel and resources; completes vehicle and industrial accident reports and assists in investigations as necessary
Ensures that all necessary departmental paperwork is completed in a timely fashion
Completes other duties, including special projects, as assigned by Management
Skill Requirements:
Knowledge of FMCSA, EPA, and OSHA
Demonstrated expertise with Word, Excel, and other MS Office suite applications
Excellent communication skills and the ability to research and resolve issues
Strong leadership and teamwork skills
Capable of working in a fast-paced environment

Shipping & Receiving
Oversee all wholesale customers' outbound shipping/freight orders.
Ensure all outbound orders are processed correctly.
Maintain and order all shipping materials and supplies for JVG accounts.
Pull and pack orders for all shipping customers including: Allied Products, Sweetbird Products, and roasted coffee orders.
Set up freight BOLs and track all shipping orders.
Monitor shipping methods, run reports, and make recommendations to solve problems and streamline processes in shipping.
Ensure all inbound freight orders are received physically and entered into inventory system.
Private Label Fulfillment
Participate in meetings with private label accounts to build relationships and help troubleshoot challenges.

Warehouse operations manager job in High Point, NC
This position leads the WarehouseOperations and the Internal Logistics teams in support of the Manufacturing Operation. The facilities currently include two onsite warehouses and one offsite finished goods warehouse. The primary goal of this position is to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products and materials to and from the Manufacturing Operation, while maintaining accurate inventory records using the company chosen ERP system. This position will manage onsite material handlers and other warehouse staff. The Warehouse/Logistics Manager reviews and reports on key metrics regarding the operation of the warehouse to the management team and creates action plans to drive continuous improvement in the overall operation of the teams. The position is responsible for reviewing the cost of storage, cost of logistics determining the best method to keep cost on budget, and that all material and equipment are available when needed
Minimum Qualifications: (Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills)
+ Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant logistics and warehousing experience
+ 5 years warehouse experience
+ 5 years supervisory experience
+ Excellent typing skills
+ Microsoft Excel and Outlook proficiency
+ ERP experience required
+ Experience in Inventory Management
+ Experience developing and maintaining a department budget
+ Experience with site-to-site replenishment processes.
+ Start from the ground up creating new facility processes for new site preferred
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills
+ Excellent organizational skills
+ Excellent mathematical skills
+ Technologically savvy
+ High attention to detail
+ Excellent time management
+ Knowledge of Warehousing best practices and methods
+ 3PL experience
+ Experience managing replenishment activities across multiple shifts and operations
+ 5S and Lean experience
+ Ability to manage multiple sites and teams
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Create a safe, clean and organized work environment for team members, that complies with company standards
+ Review orders and requisitions to determine items to be sourced, distributed and shipped to other buildings
+ Review storage locations, racks, bins ensuring we utilize the best method of storage.
+ Ensure timely fulfillment of kitting orders.
+ Ensure material movement is tracked concisely via company ERP system.
+ Responsible for stock levels and physical inventory of company distribution centers
+ May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed.
+ Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
+ Fulfillment of site-to-site replenishments on a timely basis.
+ Review and report on cost of storage and material movement
+ Develop process to manage internal logistics of manufacturing operation.

This position works in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and standard warehouse equipment such as forklifts, hand trucks, box cutters, staplers, label makers and tape dispensers.
