Summary:
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the warehouse and shipping and receiving area. The Warehouse Manager ensures that customer needs are met through the timely and efficient movement of products and materials in a high volume, fast-paced distribution environment. This role will also support cost control including overtime, management and expense control.
Essential Job Functions:
Adhere to and ensure compliance to all health and safety policies/procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) while in the warehouse or production areas.
Adhere to and ensure compliance to food quality and food safety as per quality standards and/or Safe Quality Food requirements.
Leads and directs the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination.
Provides training, direction and instruction and conducts performance evaluations.
Provides guidance and training on work standards and expected outcomes.
Accountable for planning and evaluating performance, staff training and development, recruitment and may contribute to pay recommendations.
Direct and coordinate the activities of the warehouse and establish and maintain budget control.

Review and resolve operational problems to minimize cost and prevent operational delays.
Negotiate trucking contracts with relevant parties to ensure freight costs are competitive.
Responsible for the security of the product and warehouse.
Handle all damaged product orders and monitor status of returned products.
Communicate with manufacturing personnel to ensure appropriate materials are available to meet production requirements.
Developing and implementing policies, procedures and SOPs to ensure consistent quality and operating efficiency.
Ensure compliance with DOT and other safety regulatory agencies, as well as maintaining the material handling equipment, ensuring that all warehouse personnel are certified on equipment.

Enforces procedures that create the optimal handling of the product to prevent damage and maximize production
Supervises maintenance and service approval of the packing line to ensure the warehouse follows standard food safety practices and required certifications
Works directly with Quality Control (QC) and sales to ensure effective communication related to packing and repacking
Manages equipment including rentals, maintenance, and repairs
Follow food safety guidelines diligently to prevent any possible contamination of the product
Following all safety procedures to prevent injury to employees or jeopardizing their health

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of warehouse or logistics management experience, preferably within the electrical, construction, or utility supply industry.
Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on accountability and development.
Proficiency in ERP/WMS systems (NetSuite, SAP, Epicor, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of electrical materials and equipment commonly used in T&D and solar projects.

This position will sit out of the New Bern, NC branch but will be required to travel to Greenville, NC 2-3 times per week.

**Job Summary**
The Operations Manager provides administrative and technical management for projects and direction of field operations through subordinate managers. This position manages field operations and works with customers, senior leaders, as well as personnel from various other departments.

The Operations Manager will oversee all of the department activities, supervise the employees of the branch, ensure production is flowing in an efficient matter and more. Responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications:

Working Conditions:
Working conditions are normal for both an office and manufacturing environment.
Work may involve lifting of materials and product up to 25 pounds.
Working in the manufacturing environment requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, work shoes/boots.
