It vital to the success of the warehouse manager role to have strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills, as the manager will directly oversee cross departmental communication, employee development, and team/operational consolidation across two warehouse locations. Essential Functions Manages all inbound and outbound operations of the warehouse including receiving, warehousing, internal distribution, and online order fulfillment at two locations Manages Amazon's FBA replenishment request and seller fulfilled order fulfillment Maintains high quality standards in receiving and order fulfillment by regularly inspecting products, monitoring the daily performance of staff, and developing and maintaining standard operating procedures. Manages the overall performance of the department by implementing and monitoring performance metrics. Maintains a healthy flow of communication among teams and departments Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data management system. Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees to meet daily operational needs Coaches and develops team by assessing skills, providing guidance, training, and positive leadership Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts to efficiently use space; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair or purchase of new equipment.
