    Provides materials, equipment, and supplies by directing/assisting receiving, warehousing, distribution and shipping services either directly or through subordinate supervisors. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following · Maintains the receiving, warehousing and distribution functions by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing the Company's operational policies, procedures and practices. · Develops and maintains material flow, material delivery and material presentation to the production lines. · Participates as part of Environmental Management Team with responsibility and authority of execution of Environmental Management System. · Maintains optimum and accurate inventory levels to ensure on time deliveries to meet customer requirements while minimizing carrying costs and premium transportation charges. · Develops, establishes, and provides for the maintenance or reporting systems that relate to the warehouse function. Establishes processes that meet financial goals. Drives improvement actions to resolution. · Tracks departmental metrics against goals, drives improvement actions to resolution, presents financial reporting information as required. Maintains departmental scorecard, ensuring compliance to plant and corporate goals. · Establishes procedures, supervises and reconciles periodic physical inventory and cycle counts. · Responsible for continuing programs of exploration for new materials, suppliers and processes to achieve best possible quality, reliability, prices, continuity and delivery. · Complies with federal and state warehousing, material handling and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions. · Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair or requisitioning items needed. · Consistently demonstrates prompt, regular and reliable attendance. · Must be able to work an excess of eight hours per day or forty hours per week on any shift as assigned or needed. · Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. · Demonstrates effective working relations with others in situations involving cooperation, respective communication and successful outcomes. · Must respect the rights of all employees to fair treatment and equal opportunity, free from discrimination or harassment of any type. · Performs job functions according to appropriate IATF 16949/ISO9001 and 14001 work instructions. · Participates as a member of the Environmental Management Team with responsibility and authority for execution of Environmental Management System. Reasoning Skills: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
