Operational Oversight: Ensure timely and accurate completion of warehouse activities, including loading and material handling
Recruitment and Training: Interview, recruit, and organize on-the-job training for new employees
Safety Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards
Inventory Management: Oversee inventory records, ensuring accurate tracking of all inbound and outbound materials
Equipment Maintenance: Regularly inspect and ensure proper maintenance of warehouse equipment and machinery
Reporting: Prepare and review inventory and evaluation reports related to warehouseoperations
Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Experience: Prior supervisory experience is required
Knowledge: Strong understanding of material processing and warehouseoperations
Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills
Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of warehouse experience in the metals service center industry, or completion of a related rotational management training program
Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills with experience in web-based management tools and MS Office Suite
Leadership: Strong leadership, motivational, and interpersonal communication skills
Process Management: Ability to manage processes effectively
Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills
Prioritization: Capability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Industry Experience: Experience in the metals processing/distribution industry is advantageous
Physical Requirements: Ability to pass a physical examination for vision, hearing, and mobility
Reliability: Demonstrated reliable work history
Attention to Detail: Must be detail-oriented with a strong focus on precision and quality in all inspection tasks

It'd be great if you also have:
* Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field
* 2 years of managerial or supervisory experience
* Bilingual English/Spanish
* Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment
* Warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL) experience
This job requires the ability to:
* Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights
* Stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time
* Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel
* Handle or manage tools or equipment
* Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
