JOB SUMMARY: Supervise and coordinate activities of processing, recycling and warehouse operations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Supervise warehouse employees and oversee transportation supervisor to ensure compliance with established company policies, procedures, and standards.
Manage all recycling, post-retail revenue, and salvage operations, maximizing value of all recyclable material and donated goods, while reducing waste.
Manage all waste operations including negotiating and managing all waste contracts.
Assist with budget and adhere to department budget guidelines.
Direct recycling programs to achieve assigned goals and objectives.
Develop material handling methods which increase and/or preserve donation value and allow for low cost processing.
Ensure compliance with all government regulations, ODEQ/ORC and GII standards, and safety and security regulations.
Direct all salvage activities and ensure achievement of assigned goals and objectives to ensure monthly expense and revenue budgets are met.
Takes corrective action to ensure acceptable employee performance according to policy.
Facilitate and conduct employee evaluations.
Comply with and promote all Goodwill policies and safety procedures.
Enforces compliance with GICO's Safety Program and participates in the safety committee and its meetings.
