The Operations Manager at Big Kahuna's Water and Adventure Park is responsible for the daily operational performance and guest experience across all guest arrivals at the waterpark. This leadership role oversees team operations, safety protocols, staffing, labor control, and facility management in the admissions, parking, season pass, turnstiles and bag check areas. Manager is responsible for ensuring seamless coordination between departments such as aquatics, attractions, maintenance, and guest services / arrivals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day park operations, including department readiness, staffing coverage, scheduling, and guest flow.
Supervise departmental leads and frontline staff to ensure consistent service, safety, and cleanliness standards.
Collaborate with the Aquatics Director and Maintenance teams to ensure waterpark attractions and facilities are operational, compliant, and guest-ready and communicate this with front end staff and guests during arrival process.
Oversee the implementation and enforcement of operational policies, safety procedures, and emergency response plans.
Monitor labor efficiency, inventory control, and supply ordering to support departmental needs and budget adherence.
Assist with the recruitment, onboarding and performance development of operations team members.
Drafts and publishes schedules for outlined teams (admissions, parking, season pass, turnstiles and bag checks) in a timely manner while ensuring all local and federal labor laws are being followed. Ensure staffing levels for each day are within the correct range for estimated attendance and revenue.
Respond to guest feedback and incidents, ensuring appropriate resolution, documentation, and service recovery. Address and resolve Guest concerns and complaints professionally.
Support compliance with local, state, and federal safety and health regulations across all operational areas.
Maintain accurate reports related to incidents, maintenance logs, safety drills, and staff certifications as applicable.
Provide leadership presence throughout the park, particularly during peak periods, weekends, and special events.
Promote a positive, team-oriented work culture that reflects company values and encourages employee engagement.
Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance guest satisfaction, team efficiency, and operational performance.
Qualifications and Experience
Required:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in operations leadership, preferably in a waterpark, amusement park, hospitality, or recreation environment.
Strong knowledge of facility operations, safety protocols, and customer service principles.
Experience leading teams, managing schedules, and overseeing multiple departments or areas.
Proven ability to solve problems, delegate effectively, and manage high-pressure situations.
Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and operational software systems.

In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient management of our warehouse operations, primarily focusing on receiving, organizing, and dispatching home furnishings, accessories, flooring, cabinetry, and building materials. Additionally, you will play a key role in delivering these items to various job sites, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and document all incoming shipments of home furnishings, accessories, flooring, cabinetry, and building materials.
Organize and maintain the warehouse inventory, ensuring proper storage and easy accessibility of all items.
Conduct regular inventory checks and reconcile discrepancies.
Prepare and stage materials for delivery to job sites.
Safely load and unload delivery vehicles.
Deliver furnishings and building materials to job sites in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, if certified (training can be provided).
Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or a similar role preferred.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Forklift certification is a plus but not required (we will provide training).
Must be reliable and punctual.
Must pass a background check and have a driver's license in good standing.

Ensuring that the warehouse workforce receives any specialized training required of the job.
Developing a spirit of cooperation and understanding among the work group.
Coordinating the warehouse activity with the office staff by:
Acknowledging all inbound/outbound shipments with local dispatch and/or customer service.
Completing paperwork to include Riders and other piece count verifications to assure accuracy prior to returning documents.
Properly identifying all items stored within the buildings.
REQUIREMENTS:
Work is considered heavy physical work requiring the exertion of 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Must possess strength, stamina, and mobility to perform heavy physical work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required.
Must be legal to work in the US
Must be able to pass a criminal background check
Must be able to pass a drug test
Previous warehouse experience preferred.
Knowledge of moving industry and DOT regulations
Forklift certification and/or ability to successfully complete forklift training and operate machinery safely according to company protocol.
