DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure team is following best practices for incoming inventory and equipment before inspection, storing, etc. Supervise shipping department, ensuring accurate and on time delivery to our clients, in compliance with all shipping standards and regulations. Allocate team resources appropriately, coach and develop warehouse team members accordingly, and handle personnel issues in an effective and timely manner. Accountable for ensuring accuracy of inventory through promoting warehouse best practices. Includes ownership of periodic cycle counts and annual physical counts.     SUMMARY: This role is responsible for the oversight of warehouse operations at Nextern US sites. Performs a variety of tasks with the goal of ensuring our inventory is accurate and controlled and goods are produced and shipped on time in a profitable manner. The Warehouse Supervisor must be organized and results-driven with great problem-solving skills. The goal is to ensure the smooth and controlled material flow from receipt to operations. The role will partner with both Production Leaders, Engineers, and NPD to meet required deadlines and outputs to scheduling needs. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure team is following best practices for incoming inventory and equipment before inspection, storing, etc. Supervise shipping department, ensuring accurate and on time delivery to our clients, in compliance with all shipping standards and regulations. Allocate team resources appropriately, coach and develop warehouse team members accordingly, and handle personnel issues in an effective and timely manner. Accountable for ensuring accuracy of inventory through promoting warehouse best practices. Includes ownership of periodic cycle counts and annual physical counts. Drive 5S and other continuous improvement initiatives throughout the warehouse and other areas of the organization. Champion safety across the warehouse operation; work with moving equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks. Create, prioritize and manage material picking schedule across all jobs to maximize availability to meet production capabilities with customer needs in mind SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
