This position is responsible for the loading of product into trucks and/or dry van trailers and maintaining records of all products shipped and received. Maintaining warehouse organization of finished goods and materials. This role is also responsible for keeping work area clean and safe.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Safe and efficient use of fork truck (standard forks and slip sheet attachment).
Receive in purchase orders, transfer raw material from the warehouse to designated departments/inventory location, and allocate finished goods to pick tickets within the ERP system.
Investigate and correct inventory errors and notify supervisors of any discrepancies.
Log receipts for product/quality reporting by verifying amounts, product code dates and product numbers
Prepare and process bills of lading for customer shipments; ensure product availability based on inventory levels prior to the allocation process; investigate and correct inventory errors and prepare handbills for outbound shipments.
Performs other duties as directed by any member of management. Receive and unload incoming materials and compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment, may process return shipments from customers.
Perform quality checks as necessary.
Complete all paperwork accurately to comply with HACCP, tracebility, FS, and quality requirements.
Maintain excellent position in regards to GMP.
Follow appropriate guidelines in regards to sampling.
Sort, count and unpack packages, labels, etc., and log inventory which is shipped or received.
Inspect shipments for damages or defects.
Record discrepancies and/or damages and notify manager and/or Purchasing personnel.
Deliver items to requisitioning departments and obtain authorization signatures for accepted items.
Trace lost shipments and/or customer claims of lost shipments, initiate proof of delivery documents.
Maintain department database, prepare routine reports, and file Shipping/Receiving records.
Operate dolly, pallet jack and/or forklift in loading and unloading supplies and equipment; may operate shrink wrap machine; may assist in routine maintenance of equipment in Shipping and Packaging areas.
Housekeeping responsibilities shall be maintained in all areas.
Adhere to the Lifeline Foods Code of Team Behavior. In that regard, this position will be expected to perform duties outside the key responsibilities.
Responsible for Food Safety and quality.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment is manufacturing.
Frequently exposed to airborne particles (dust).
Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions.
Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.

Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Basic math skills are required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
Technology proficient to include use of computers, two-way radio communications.
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion.
Ability to read, write and speak fluently in English is required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

One year of experience driving a straight truck or tractor trailer, preferred
Valid driver's license to be always maintained in compliance with company policy.

Summary: Accountable for managing the integrity of the inventory within a facility and reporting inventory results to the client and the operation's management team. * Oversee and manage the Inventory Control departments of multiple accounts to ensure the integrity of the inventory and that all procedures and processes are followed and completed in a timely manner and in accordance with client requirements, system requirements, company policy, ISO guidelines, Sarbanes Oxley and other regulatory requirements.
* Plan, execute and reconcile physical inventories.
* Oversee daily cycle counts, audits and reconciliation of activities between systems in accordance with contractual commitments.
* Ensure timely reporting and communication to the appropriate staff.
* Ensure that customer requirements are reported accurately and timely, according to customer specifications and contractual obligations.
* Resolve discrepancies and high-value variances through established investigative processes and in accordance with contractual obligations.
