Warehouse Manager Specific Responsibilities:
Responsible for the day-to-day supervision and leadership of associates within the warehouse to ensure the company's targets and objectives are met to meet customer requirements.
Ensure that staff comply with health, safety, and standard operating procedures.
Supervise outbound inventory, including picking and shipping customer orders.
Ensure all orders are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Train, supervise and develop warehouse associates.
Manage associates time and priorities based on fluctuations in different workloads.
Enforce compliance with safety regulations and standard operating procedures.
Investigate and report accidents or incidents.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse operations.
Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and transactions in compliance with internal procedures.
Warehouse Manager Qualifications:
Bachelor's or an associate degree preferred.

What you'll do...
This position reports to the Supervisor, North American Material Logistics (Dearborn WPC).
Implement freight efficiencies to achieve the assigned plants (TBD) calendarized and annualized targets.
Develop logistics commodity strategies with Transportation Purchasing Organization.
Develop equipment & routing specs for Request for Quote with Transportation Purchasing.
Publish supplier shipping instructions, daily change management, including responding to operating plan changes.
Support TPO in helping carriers react to changes at least cost
Manage inbound freight cost by identifying and implementing improvements and tracking physicals.
Identify cost savings through sourcing changes and density changes.
Review / maintain Cube Utilization metrics, Planned to Actual metrics
Audit and dispute logistics provider billing discrepancies.
Review & Approve TONU, Approve Plant Requested pull-ahead, etc.…
Interface with MP&L Managers to manage logistics related issues between plants, suppliers and carriers.
Serve as daily presence (physically when possible) in the plant to resolve operational issues and identify opportunities as well as be an integral member of plant logistics planning team.
MEL Meeting & metrics, Cost Reviews (with SCA/Logistics Analyst)
Demurrage/detention tracking and adjudication for Intermodal.
Monitoring Cube Utilization, Brokering, Add/Cancel metrics, Rack Return-to-plan
Execute Forward Model Logistics plans in conjunction with the LLP and affected plant(s).
Interface with Lead Logistics Provider to ensure quality and timely delivery of services.
Monitor via weekly Plant Launch call
Provide monthly updates Director of MP&L.
Support reductions in LLP Management fee. This also includes managing changes in LLP staffing to support shift, complexity and volume changes.
Achieve a reduction in brokering for key carriers utilizing Data Warehouse reports and detailed brokering & book of business reviews.
