THE ROLE

Principal Responsibilities:

Partner with JOM Training Department and J&J Learning Services to identify, develop and complete training for associates. They will facilitate training sessions in the areas of policies, procedures, and goals.
Create, implement and supervise team performance metrics to achieve operational excellence.
Coach and lead team to corrective actions for low performing metrics and recognize members of the team for exceeding expectations.
Coach associates to identify and resolve operation inefficiencies to improve process quality.
Partner with Human Resources to develop recommendations required for subject area and termination when necessary.
Lead team empowerment initiatives to drive teams toward self-direction. Assess and reevaluate inter-departmental team structure to ensure open communication, balanced workload distribution, and team effectiveness. Suggest changes and implement with guidance.
Operational Responsibilities:
Lead operational perfection throughout the distribution process through collaborative efforts within the Customer Service, Systems Administrators, Credit AR and RTO (Regional Transportation Organization).
Interact with Q&C, Planning, Manufacturing, and Marketing to resolve process and technical problems across the supply chain.
Drive successful obtainment of Distribution goals and metrics that are set and implemented by Supervisors on an annual basis.
Partner with Supervisors and teams across distribution to analyze and trend monthly statistics associated with the distribution metrics. Investigate and report all deviations to JOM Associates.
Communicate issues and strategies to Operating Companies and Distribution management.
Support marketing initiatives and new product launches for the J&J Pharmaceutical Sector
Develop individuals and teams to align with GMP and regulatory requirements.
Develop and lead department budgets.
Proactively examine and respond to customer needs and demands and take ownership for overall customer satisfaction.
Ensure equipment maintenance plans are developed and completed.
Required:
Minimum of a Bachelors degree is required.
Five years of practical experience is required.
Minimum of 2 years people leader experience is required.
Ability to perform and participate on cross-functional teams that encompass various departments and multi-level members. Lead the group to identify and meet Distribution Goals. Assist in leading highly technical large-scale projects that are designated to cross - functional teams (i.e. facility layout enhancements, shipping process changes).
Model standard facilitation techniques to be applied in all team interactions.
Attend conferences and benchmark companies to identify innovative technologies, recent regulatory changes, business opportunities, and new customer requirements. Recognize and communicate the need for change and drives the change process.
Serve as consultant to management and create an environment to sustain technical business process innovation
