Job Description

12-hour shifts - normally 7p -7a
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Operates coil processing equipment, stores, loads and unloads material via overhead crane, forklift, (track mobile - with skillset) or other material handling equipment; operates scales and packs material for storage, processing and shipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Loads and unloads materials from carriers' equipment. Including Trucks and railcars.
Operates lift trucks, cranes, conveyors, tilt tables, track, wrapping equipment.
Identifies, tags, moves and stages material to be processed, wrapped, tilted, stored and shipped
Uses tools to interface with computer systems as directed.
Verifies that material and paperwork match and are correct. Keeps records as required.
Delivers materials to process lines and equipment as directed. Transports materials to and from process lines, equipment and between warehouses and plants.
Skids, bands, weights and packs materiais prior to shipment as directed with coil processing equipment or by hand.
Stores and inventories material in designated area.
Assists in other departments as directed.
Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
Scan material throughout the plant after each movement.
Keeps equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition and reports equipment handled repair requirements to Supervisor.
Qualifications
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED), plus 1 year related experience and/or training on overhead crane and forklift; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience in steel warehouse and coil handling preferred.

Job Description:
This role reports to the Facility Manager at Rialto. The OperationsManager has responsibility for managing aspects of the site, including safety, environmental, financial, HR, administration, legal, engineering, operations, maintenance, and project management. The OperationsManager will lead, manage, and coach a team of operations and plant support employees at the site. The OperationsManager, under the direction of the Facility Manager, has responsibility for establishing and maintaining world-class safety and environmental standards for the site while driving a strong culture of operational discipline. The OperationsManager has the responsibility to support the Facility Manager in meeting financial, operational, and performance goals for the facility and manage contractual matters for the site. Responsibilities
• Safety - Deploy operational resources to ensure the safety and health of the workers and others who may be affected by activities at the facility, ensure compliance with the Company's Health and Safety program, and fulfill all legal, safety, and health requirements.
• Environmental - Coordination with regulators and other government and non-government agencies and community stakeholders regarding environmental compliance.
• Communication - Communicate effectively with employees, Government authorities, other stakeholders, and the public. This communication shall include the development and modifications of SOPs and Best Practices. • Report - Provide support to the Facility Manager to ensure that the ERP system is kept up-to-date to track budget variance, inventory, sales report, monthly budget and cash flow forecast, safety and environmental compliance, departmental and individual long term and short-term targets; Schedule coordination meetings to ensure progress, analysis and corrective actions are documented and tracked; Complete month end, quarterly and yearly reports and results for the facility.
• Construction - Provide feedback for the Company's contractors' activities for new facility construction. Identify the strategic spare parts required for the new facility and arrange for their procurement, develop, review and approve the receipt of acceptable O&M manuals, provide input to add defects to the construction punch list, identification and rectification of defects during the guarantee period, issuance of final complete and performance certificate, manageoperations staff during commissioning and takeover from EPC Contractor, etc.
• Budget, Finance, and Cash - Management - Control all operational expenditures and ensure maintenance of all assets; Control finances to ensure funds for long- and short-term commitments, make confident financial decisions to meet business objectives.
