Duties and responsibilities Leadership & People Development Provide multi-site leadership by coaching, developing, and managing the Assistant Manager and Supervisor teams across all warehouse facilities. Direct the performance of product inventory control, tracking, shipping, and receiving, including maintenance of the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Compliance & Safety Ensure 100% compliance with all internal and external safety and federally administered regulations (e.g., OSHA, Fire Safety, Forklift Certifications) across all facilities. Be the culture carrier for safety, proactively correcting unsafe conditions and championing best practices to build a robust safety culture. Communication & Reporting Maintain clear, concise, and consistent communication on all operational aspects, strategic objectives, and performance concerns with the Warehouse and Operations Manager. Responsibilities: Maintains the warehouse in a safe and orderly manner. Ensures proper storage and labeling occurs. Ensures an adequate stock materials and equipment are available. Makes job deliveries. Ensures job deliveries are kept to the lowest acceptable minimum. Maintains an inventory of all tools and equipment. Maintains an up-to-date record of the location of all tools and equipment in the warehouse inventory. Inspects tools and equipment prior to sending them to the field to ensure they are properly functioning, ensures all labels and markings are in place, and all safety guards are installed. Ensures all tools are stored clean, and etched, labeled, or stenciled with company identifying markings. Inspects tools and equipment as they are returned to the warehouse from jobsites. Ensures tools and equipment are properly functioning and labeled with all guards in place. Red tags (with a physical tag) all damaged equipment and place damaged tools and equipment in an area of the warehouse which is established to store non-functioning items.
