* Maintain safety standards within the policy guidelines in a safe and orderly manner. • Must keep warehouse areas neat and organized at all times. • Pull material from the warehouse by using finished goods picking list accurately; reading description, color, part number and matching accordingly using the Warehouse management system. • Load material from staging onto trailers in a safe and organized manner. Must be able to safely load product, secure product for transport without causing damage using the proper placement of the material, straps, and airbags. • Operate forklift within the policy guidelines in a safe and efficient manner. • Work shifts or scheduled overtime as required. • Rotate responsibilities within the plant or department regularly to maintain or learn new skills in all responsibilities of the job for further development. • He /she is Responsible for filling out Daily Forklift/Sweeper checklist using our equipment management system or a paper checklist (if applicable) before operating a forklift/sweeper. • Demonstrate the ability to complete the Daily Forklift Checklist before operating a forklift. • Work within a group or individually as assigned when given a task by a supervisor or group leader. Starts at $18.03/hr. 12 hr. shifts (Day)
Required Qualifications

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Vision: Must be able to read letters and numbers and distinguish between colors. Language: English - must have good verbal communication. Hearing: Normal - Must be able to hear forklifts traveling in forward or reverse direction. Range of Motion: Full repetitive bending and lifting. Lifting Capacity: Must be able to lift 75-pounds box chest high. Sitting/Standing: Eight hours standing and moving daily, possibility up to four hours overtime of standing and moving as required.

Additional Description

OSHA Requirements: Standard plant safety rules, lift truck training, also must wear any PPE as required. Specific License Required: Material handling forklift license. Basic computer skills required (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc)

Our Shipping Department is looking to fill a 1st shift Shipper position with a hardworking and energetic individual who enjoys a fast-paced environment.

• Performs the day to day operations of the shipping department.
• Packs and ships completed sales orders by using the correct amount of boxes and stuffing not to exceed the 40 lb. weight standard set up by the shipping manager.
• Maintains the quality of the product by looking for damaged bags or boxes.
• Helps ship Freight orders and other special orders including Heavy Duty shipments and end of day for Next Day Air shipments, including Hazardous Material.
• Performs daily maintenance to sales orders to assure the correct quantity goes out including incompletes.

Qualifications:

• This position requires the ability to read and write small letters and numbers; the ability to make arithmetic calculations; and the ability to understand written and oral instructions
• This position requires the ability to concentrate and to communicate with management and co-workers regarding a shipment
• This position requires the ability to follow oral and written instructions that pertain to each shipment
• This position requires the ability to lift objects weighing seventy (70) pounds
• This position requires a strong work ethic and some schedule flexibility

Additional Information:

The pay rate is $16.00 per hour, plus the opportunity to earn $200 a month in bonuses.

The hours are Monday - Friday, 5:30am-2:00pm

WAREHOUSE SHIPPER TRAINEE: You will begin as a paid trainee for the first 60 days. No experience necessary as this opportunity will help you learn more about our business and give you the ability to ramp up your performance.

This position is responsible for combining packages into single outbound shipments that are exported internationally. After your training is completed, you will be eligible to promote to a Warehouse Shipper.

GUARANTEED TRAINEE COMPENSATION:

• First shift: $20.00/HR
• Second shift: $21.00/HR
