We are looking for a Warehouse Lead to join our Rexel USA team in Albuquerque, NM!
Summary:
The Warehouse Lead is responsible for efficiently and accurately filling customer orders, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping material in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, accuracy, and productivity. Responsible for all warehouse transactions, as well as the upkeep and maintenance of the branch warehouse environment and equipment. Responsible for training and mentoring Warehouse Associates.
What You'll Do:
Contribute to a culture and environment focused daily on employee safety and a safe work environment
Follow established Standard Operating Procedures, Environmental Health and Safety Rules, and immediately addresses safety concerns
Receive material coming into the building by vendors, customers, or other warehouses and verifies the quantity and description of materials received by checking merchandise against the packing list
Keep incoming orders stocked on shelves orderly and in designated area and report freight damage claims
Prepare branch orders from the warehouse and ensure that the correct number and type of product is being shipped
Process paperwork regarding shipments including but not limited to verifying that the merchandise to be shipped is correct, applying the correct postage tape and label, following customer shipping instructions, and insuring the shipment when necessary
Operate machinery including forklift, reach truck, and wire cutting machine when required
Load common carrier and company vehicles
Inspect and perform minor maintenance on equipment
Perform inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies
Make deliveries to branches/customers as needed
Assist with other warehouse or branch duties as needed
Perform other duties as assigned

SUMMARY
Serve as part of the team who builds and delivers Bookjoy as a Warehouse Lead. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Expertise/Functional:
* Demonstrates ability to lead warehouse team, ensuring maximum efficiency in both daily tasks as well as special projects within the branch.
* May prepare daily associate work/task assignments and assist BM/WHS with production planning.
* In conjunction with Branch Inventory Coordinator (BIC), monitor inventory levels of all product and materials to avoid out-of-stock situations.
* Demonstrate verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead other employees.
* Consistently meet minimum required production, accuracy, and quality standards for all work performed.

About this Role
FiberTel is looking for a Warehouse Specialist for our Albuquerque, NM location.
The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for receiving, issuing and maintaining all materials necessary for the operation of the storeroom/yard. They will develop a complete working knowledge of all materials and their use and application. Maintain an organized and orderly warehouse facility. They are responsible for the disposition of all materials through proper channels.

What You'll Do
Responsibilities:
Receiving- inspection, documentation, vendor communication and resolution, proper packaging teardown, labeling and storage
Inventory and inventory control- maintaining records of issuances, receipts, and other movements. Keeping all inventory systems and data up to date with the physical stock, maintaining master data as required.
Picking and Staging- selecting material ordered by crews, packing safely and protectively, consolidating for ease of receiving, marking and repacking as required
Loading and Unloading- Operating forklifts, including backhoe proficiently and or by hand.
Unloading material on time and checking for accuracy of paperwork.
Maintaining clean and orderly warehouse and yard areas

Qualifications:

**Summary:**
The Warehouse Lead is responsible for efficiently and accurately filling customer orders, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping material in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, accuracy, and productivity. Responsible for all warehouse transactions, as well as the upkeep and maintenance of the branch warehouse environment and equipment. Responsible for training and mentoring Warehouse Associates.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Contribute to a culture and environment focused daily on employee safety and a safe work environment
+ Follow established Standard Operating Procedures, Environmental Health and Safety Rules, and immediately addresses safety concerns
+ Receive material coming into the building by vendors, customers, or other warehouses and verifies the quantity and description of materials received by checking merchandise against the packing list
+ Keep incoming orders stocked on shelves orderly and in designated area and report freight damage claims
+ Prepare branch orders from the warehouse and ensure that the correct number and type of product is being shipped
+ Process paperwork regarding shipments including but not limited to verifying that the merchandise to be shipped is correct, applying the correct postage tape and label, following customer shipping instructions, and insuring the shipment when necessary
+ Operate machinery including forklift, reach truck, and wire cutting machine when required
+ Load common carrier and company vehicles
+ Inspect and perform minor maintenance on equipment

Job Summary

What You'll Do
* Operates and will be certified on all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers raised to heights of up to 40 feet.
* Utilize handheld RF scanners to receive, pick, ship, or locate inventory; will focus primarily on picking glass orders.
* May occasionally drive and deliver automotive glass, accessories, and parts to store locations.

What You'll Need
* Must be 18 years of age or older.

* Strong preference for candidates with order picker experience.

Must be able to stand, reach above and below the shoulders, squat, bend and kneel as necessary to perform the job.
Must be able to tolerate work in a non-air conditioned environment.
Must be able to accurately follow specific instructions for multiple detailed assembly processes.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
