Key Responsibilities
Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of fluid pumps, parts, and raw materials
Coordinate material flow to support production schedules and minimize downtime
Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP/MRP systems; conduct cycle counts and physical inventories
Ensure proper handling and storage of pumps, seals, motors, castings, and other sensitive components
Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse staff; schedule labor to meet operational demands
Enforce safety policies, including OSHA compliance, forklift operation, and hazardous material handling
Collaborate with Purchasing, Production, Quality, and Logistics teams to resolve material issues and improve efficiency
Monitor warehouse KPIs such as inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, on-time shipments, and space utilization
Manage shipping and receiving documentation, including bills of lading and packing lists
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, or similar)
Ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper layout of warehouse facilities
Oversee third-party carriers and freight cost control where applicable
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
5+ years of warehouse or inventory management experience in a manufacturing environment (industrial or mechanical products preferred)
Prior experience with fluid pumps, valves, motors, or similar mechanical assemblies a plus
Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations, and material handling systems
Experience using ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office
Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety best practices
Proven leadership and team management skills
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication abilities
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and operate material handling equipment for extended periods
Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all facets of warehouse operations within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and distribution of raw materials and finished products, while ensuring strict compliance with all regulatory requirements (cGMP, GDP, OSHA, DEA). Key Responsibilities
Operational Management: Plan, organize, and direct daily warehouse activities, including the efficient receipt, storage, order fulfillment (picking/packing), and dispatch of all materials while adhering to established policies and procedures.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping regulations, including Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Good Distribution Practices (GDP), OSHA safety standards, and DEA regulations for controlled substances.
Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels and maintain high accuracy through regular cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliation with the data storage system (ERP/WMS). Apply principles of FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) as appropriate for pharmaceutical products.
Continuous Improvement (CPI): Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operational efficiency, reduce waste, streamline workflows, and enhance productivity. Utilize process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to analyze performance metrics (KPIs), identify bottlenecks, and implement effective solutions.
Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS) within the warehouse and ensure all activities meet accreditation standards and internal SOPs.
Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, select, orient, train, coach, and motivate warehouse staff to optimize performance and foster a culture of safety, compliance, and accountability.
Safety & Security: Enforce high standards of health, safety, and security protocols, conducting regular safety training and inspections to maintain a safe and organized work environment. Manage security procedures and act as a contact for security matters.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with other departments (e.g., Quality Assurance, Production, Planning, Logistics, Customer Service) and external suppliers/vendors to ensure seamless supply chain operations and meet business objectives.
Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports on warehouse activities, performance, and KPIs for management review and regulatory audits.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in warehouse operations within a pharmaceutical, cGMP, or similarly regulated environment, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.

Serco is supporting USACE to renovate the Power Building (J-Plant) and providing it with High Altitude Electro Magnetic Pulse (HEMP) protective measures.The Logistician's primary role is to provide on-site receiving and accountability of construction materials and equipment. Tasks included inventory control, tool management, and hazardous material control and management. Additional duties include assisting Travel personnel with housing arrangements for arriving workforce personnel, meal card management, and return flight arrangements.
**This position is contingent upon your ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance**
**ROTATIONAL SCHEDULE:** **_This is a year-round position; current rotation is 3 months on and 1 month away from the site_**
**In this role, you will:**
+ Provide on-site shipping and receiving materials and construction equipment.
+ Provide on-site inventory control and management of all SERCO assets.
+ Provide on-site tools management.
+ Provide on-site hazardous material inventory, control and overall management.
+ Provide on-site flammable storage inventory and control of all flammable materials and liquids.
+ Assist the SERCO travel office with housing arrangements for arriving workforce personnel, to include meal card distribution, room preparation prior to arrival, and return flight coordination.
+ Maintain inventory status in Serco's warehouse management software suite.
+ Initiate purchase requests for site supplies and misc. materials.
+ Proactively resolve material and logistical problems or issues with the Serco management team and other subcontractors.
+ Work with Serco's vehicle supplier to coordinate vehicle use and transport of personnel to and from the site.
+ Coordinate shipping plans and documentation with other Serco warehouse sites as necessary.
+ Track and report large purchase order status as necessary with support from Serco's purchasing group.
+ Be present at the work site, attend and report weekly plan updates as it pertains to logistic, hazardous material or flammable container issues.
+ The logistician typically reports to the Site Superintendent or Project Manager.
**To be successful in this role, you will have:**

Experience / Core Competencies:
· At least 2 years Supervisory experience in Operations, Distribution, Logistics, Supply Chain
· · Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
· Experience utilizing ERP system in supply chain/logistics capacity (EPICOR a plus)
· Strong organization skills; understanding of lean principles and how it impacts efficiency
