Ensures that warehouse personnel are trained in all aspects of the operation in compliance with OSHA and AIB standards.
Participates as an active member in the safety, quality, and food safety committees.
Performs safety and sanitation audits.
Conducts monthly training sessions on safety and food safety for warehouse employees.
Participates in special safety assignments.
Maintains open and continuous communication with production and maintenance supervisors.
Performs other duties as required.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High School diploma, GED or equivalent required. College Degree preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations required. Preferably within a food manufacturing environment. With 2 years in a supervisory capacity or 4 years as a Lead in a manufacturing environment required. *Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience may be considered for the above.

This work group is comprised of the Purchasing Department. The Purchasing Department provides comprehensive procurement to order fulfillment oversight for the Colorado Mesa University campus. The Mailroom Supervisor is responsible for all incoming and outgoing campus mail, USPS package distribution, reconciliation, and provides support to fleet management. OVERVIEW AND ROLE SCOPE OF TEAM AND/OR TASKS
The Mail Room Supervisor is responsible for all incoming and outgoing USPS campus mail and packages as well as providing logistical distribution across multiple CMU campuses. The Mail Room Supervisor has working knowledge of campus mail distribution routes, mail classification and sorting, reconciliation, and on campus mail delivery and outgoing mail pick up for daily metering services. The Supervisor will take campus standard marketing mailings to processing facilities.
The Mailroom Supervisor is responsible for high level of customer service. This position is a point of contact for all carriers and campus users seeking mail services. It deploys mail services throughout varies routes while maintaining customer service at the mail room location.
Logistical abilities needed in mail classification for cost efficiencies, in recipient identification for delivery efficiencies, and in offloading to assess the best method of retrieving packages includingpallet pulls, forkliftextensions.
Mail Room Supervisor provides equipment maintenance and repair oversight for vehicles and equipment used in receiving/delivering mail on campus. This includes two mini trucks,a forklift, 15-passenger vans and various small equipment including pallet jacks, dollies and other mail moving equipment.
This position provides supportto fleet management by assisting fleet users with pick up, drop off, clean outs and gas ups. This position is responsible for supervising work study students to augment staffing needs and increase field efficiency in daily distribution.
The Mail Room Supervisor is requiredto be proficient in the department's eProcurement system and ERP software, soon to be Workday. The Supervisor will have a working knowledge of Excel with the ability to compile data and run spreadsheets in support of the mail functions including reconciliation. The Supervisor will be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, with Outlook and Teams being used as a primary form of communication.

Acts as the primary point of contact for external carriers like the USPS and others, communicating the university's evolving delivery needs across the expanding campus footprint.
Outgoing mail and package pick up, classification, drop off, and reconciliation (40% of Job):
Involves strategic logistics and route management, ensuring the efficient pickup of outgoing mail and packages. Key responsibilities include classifying mail by category, coordinating timely drop-offs, and providing essential logistical support for complex orders and financial reconciliation.
Data Entry (15% of Job):
Manage the University's shipping accounts with vendors such as FedEx and the

Functional Mailroom Set up (5% of Job):

Job Summary:
The WarehouseSupervisor serves as a leader and provides guidance for all warehouse labor duties. Requirements:

Minimum of 2-3 years of supervisory or warehouse lead experience desired

Summary:
The Warehouse Receiver is responsible for performing physical and clerical tasks associated with shipment and reception of supplies and finished products. Duties include verifying shipping records and correct packaging and labeling; unpacking received goods, checking for damage and accuracy of shipment, and working with materials transport companies; performing all other responsibilities as directed by the business or as assigned by management. This is a non-exempt position and typically reports to the Warehouse Manager or the General Manager, depending on local requirements.
Essential Functions:
* Provides excellent service to internal and external customers in receiving, processing and distributing merchandise and supplies to stores
* Complies with delivery schedules; accurately, timely, and efficiently processes deliveries
* Executes ticketing process according to Company standards
* Accurately and efficiently stocks shipments
* Pulls, prepares, and processes daily orders according to requisitions generated by the stores
* Reviews orders for accuracy
* Utilizes computer to manage accurate inventory for warehouse operations
* Assists in the transportation of orders and returns between the warehouse and stores (where
applicable)
* Identifies damaged and expired products
* Implements product rotation based on product code dates in warehouse and concepts
* Follows all security and safety procedures established by the Company and Branch
* Assists in all maintenance responsibilities and activities established by the warehouse
* Maintains fixtures and equipment storage
* Assists with bin location upkeep and the physical inventory process
* Maintains HACCP charts, walk-in coolers and freezers (where applicable)
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment:

* Requires the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner

The Warehouse Associate will work in our Denver facility and will be responsible for all tasks related to the warehouse, inventory, yard and office. He/she will have a hands-on role in the warehouse, & inventory as well as interact with our field employees and our customers. This position will be based at our warehouse and is for someone with 1-3 years of experience working in a warehouse.
What Will You Do
Load and unload materials and supplies from trucks
Assist in staging materials (kitting) for projects as requested
Perform equipment maintenance checks
Ability to operate a forklift
Assists in maintaining vehicle maintenance records
Manages and executes ongoing cost saving and efficiency initiatives
Manages effective utilization of equipment and vehicle assets
Keeps management apprised of any delays, discrepancies, unsafe working conditions, vehicle or stockroom irregularities or maintenance issues
Maintains a clean, organized and safe stockroom and yard
Executes various warehouse transactions electronically
Tracks and cycle counts to ensure that stock levels are accurate
Assists in the deliveries or pick-ups to/from job sites and customer locations
Responsible for all shipping and receiving functions
Monitor and confirm accuracy of all material and stock for easy retrieval and verification
Follows established policies and procedures to ensure quality and cost control

What You Will Need
3+ years experience in performing material handling activities within a warehouse desired. Telecommunications experience desired but not required
Ability to operate a forklift
Dependable, self-starter with an excellent work ethic; team-player and willing to help wherever needed; punctual and have a good attendance record
Excellent people person/communicator who has the ability to interact with customers, vendors and in-house personnel
Ability to utilize a computer, specifically MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet required
Regulars hours are Monday - Friday from 7:00a - 5:00p with the potential for additional OT.
