Duties and Responsibilities: Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Monitors all companies providing service within the warehouse to ensure acceptable performance.
• Ensures communication with the in-house carrier of daily schedule changes and needs.
• Monitors the competitive environment within the community and informs management regarding adjustments necessary to maintain the company's competitive position.
• Recommend personnel for advancement and termination as appropriate.
• Addresses warehouse issues, escalates and/or refers concerns to peers, 3rd parties, or other management as appropriate; consistently upholds established standards to ensure equitable treatment of warehouse personnel.
• Oversees the activities of warehouse personnel, ensuring effectiveness and efficiency of day-to-day operations.
• Leads, plans and facilitates regularly scheduled Warehouse Associate meetings.
• Trains and develops direct reports to achieve their maximum professional potential to retain a motivated and productive workforce.
• Observes and evaluates employees' work performance; provides feedback and coaching as appropriate, including completion of annual performance review.
• Supervises the timely, accurate and efficient storage of product, supplies and equipment.
• Supervises warehouse teams to ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, maintenance and operational safety guidelines and procedures.
• Oversees warehouse personnel to ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
• Monitors and manages controllable expenses; provides appropriate inventory and efficiency results and makes employee payroll adjustments as necessary.
• Ensures a safe environment by identifying and rectifying hazards, ensuring proper ergonomics, and maintaining equipment in proper working order.
• Manages direct reports to ensure they comply with established policies and procedures, including but not limited to those outlined in the Employee Handbook, Procedures Manuals.

**Position Purpose**
The Stockroom Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse and stockroom in a dynamic boat manufacturing facility. This role ensures efficient management of materials, inventory accuracy, and timely supply to production teams while maintaining safety and compliance standards. Additionally, the supervisor/manager will operate, maintain, and update the ERP system to ensure seamless inventory tracking and coordination with other departments. **Responsibilities & Accountabilities**
- **Warehouse Management:**
* Plan, coordinate, and supervise all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution of materials.
* Responsible for attending daily production meetings and reporting of departmental transactions
* Responsible for day-to-day supervision of Warehouse employees, including but not limited to, employee disciplinary actions, performance management and training.
* Responsible for completing end of year physical inventory process
* Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee regular cycle counts or physical inventory audits.
* Ensure timely and efficient supply of materials to production lines to prevent delays.
- **Stockroom Operations:**
* Manage the organization and cleanliness of the stockroom to facilitate easy access and identification of inventory.
* Implement and enforce inventory control systems to reduce waste, overstocking, or stockouts.
* Collaborate with purchasing and production teams to forecast material requirements and minimize disruptions.
* Operate and maintain the company's ERP system (Sage Pro), ensuring inventory levels and materials are accurately tracked in real time.
* Regularly update the ERP system with new stock, material usage, and any adjustments in inventory.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the ERP system to ensure smooth functionality and accurate reporting.
* Work closely with the IT and operations teams to optimize ERP usage and integrate it with other manufacturing processes.
**Leadership and Team Management:**
* Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse and stockroom staff to achieve high performance and productivity.
* Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for warehouse operations.
* Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing feedback and addressing issues as necessary.
**Safety and Compliance:**
* Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
* Conduct regular safety training and audits to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
* Investigate and resolve any safety incidents or inventory discrepancies.
**Continuous Improvement:**
* Identify areas for process optimization and cost reduction within the warehouse and stockroom operations.
* Stay informed on industry trends and advancements in warehouse management technology and ERP systems.
**Qualifications**
**Education & Experience:**
* Associate or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
* 3-5 years of experience in warehouse or stockroom management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
* Hands-on experience operating and maintaining an ERP system (e.g., Sage Pro, SQL, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).

Summary/Scope of Work
The Inventory Supervisor shall operate out of the warehouses on site and will be accountable for the Government Furnished Property (GFP) and Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS) property assigned to the Contractor. This offer is available contingent upon contract award.
