What You'll Need

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Job Purpose:
The Warehouse Receiver will be responsible for all receiving needs. Unloading, receiving, and putting away all materials/ingredients after they are received into the system. The receiver will also drive our cycle count program and support the internal warehouse team as needed.
Responsibilities:
Receive all inbound loads (purchase orders/transfer orders)
Rotate inventory upon receipt to keep materials in FEFO order
Complete cycle counts for materials as required
Maintain safe working environment for packaging warehouse
Manage 5s compliance of packaging warehouse
Manage inventory reports (FEFO)
Assist with troubleshooting errors in warehouse management system (Dynamics 365)
Provides additional backup support for shipping and receiving needs
Skills/Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or GED required
Ability to retrieve, analyze, and input data
Dedication to staff training and championing innovative ideas
At least 2 years' experience in warehousing
Understanding of warehouse management systems (Dynamics 365)
Organizational skills/attention to detail
Understanding of 5s principles
Ability to handle ambiguity and work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
8 hours sitting/standing/walking.
Ability to lift up-to 50 lbs.
Reaching/bending frequently (Re wrap and re stack pallets as needed by hand)
Exposure to hazards (Forklifts, Electric Pallet Jack, Scissor lift, Pallet wrap machine)
Temperatures from 34 degrees to 77 degrees
Food Safety Requirements:
Notify supervision of any repairs or adjustments that are required that may affect product quality or food safety.
Understand, observe, and comply with the handling and usage of the color-coded container policy while in the Production Areas.
Perform all duties necessary to meet Company, Customer and/or Government requirements/standards as prioritized by the Company.
Ability to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the product, processes, quality system, or safety system.
Identify and record any problems relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the ingredients, processes, quality system, or safety system.
Control further processing or delivery of nonconforming product in terms of Food Safety and Quality issues until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
In the event of absence, another employee with the same skill level will assume the duties and responsibilities as required.
