What you'll do as a Warehouse Selector\:
Select product and load trucks, moving product between the loading dock and the warehouse and moving product within the warehouse.
May work in various areas of the warehouse such as Dry, Refrigerated, Perishables, Freezer, and others.
McLane provides freezer suits, hats, and gloves to you.
Review documents and record information; verify quantity, identity, availability, and condition of product.
Drive and operate a reach truck and pallet jack to select, pull, sort, and stack product within the warehouse and dock.
Hand-stack product on occasion when items are off balance or in the wrong location.
Shrink-wrap and label outgoing orders and remove shrink wrap from incoming orders.
Clean work area.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications you'll bring as a Warehouse Teammate\:
At least 18 years of age.
Able to perform accurate visual inspections and repeatedly lift to 50 pounds or more.
At least 1 year of distribution warehouse experience, including operation of reach truck, pallet jack, and forklift is preferred, but not required.
This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.

Serco is supporting USACE to renovate the Power Building (J-Plant) and providing it with High Altitude Electro Magnetic Pulse (HEMP) protective measures.The Logistician's primary role is to provide on-site receiving and accountability of construction materials and equipment. Tasks included inventory control, tool management, and hazardous material control and management. Additional duties include assisting Travel personnel with housing arrangements for arriving workforce personnel, meal card management, and return flight arrangements.
**This position is contingent upon your ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance**
**ROTATIONAL SCHEDULE:** **_This is a year-round position; current rotation is 3 months on and 1 month away from the site_**
**In this role, you will:**
+ Provide on-site shipping and receiving materials and construction equipment.
+ Provide on-site inventory control and management of all SERCO assets.
+ Provide on-site tools management.
+ Provide on-site hazardous material inventory, control and overall management.
+ Provide on-site flammable storage inventory and control of all flammable materials and liquids.
+ Assist the SERCO travel office with housing arrangements for arriving workforce personnel, to include meal card distribution, room preparation prior to arrival, and return flight coordination.
+ Maintain inventory status in Serco's warehouse management software suite.
+ Initiate purchase requests for site supplies and misc. materials.
+ Proactively resolve material and logistical problems or issues with the Serco management team and other subcontractors.
+ Work with Serco's vehicle supplier to coordinate vehicle use and transport of personnel to and from the site.
+ Coordinate shipping plans and documentation with other Serco warehouse sites as necessary.
+ Track and report large purchase order status as necessary with support from Serco's purchasing group.
+ Be present at the work site, attend and report weekly plan updates as it pertains to logistic, hazardous material or flammable container issues.
+ The logistician typically reports to the Site Superintendent or Project Manager.
**To be successful in this role, you will have:**
+ **Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance**
+ **U.S Citizenship required**
+ Ability to travel over 90% of the time
+ Valid U.S Passport required (more than 6 months from expiration date)
+ A High School diploma and technical training in construction or technical field

Monitors Driver performance weekly through PeopleNet. Counsels Drivers on performance issues and areas for improvement.
Supervises assigned Lead Drivers.
Works with Dunkin' Stores and Distribution Center (as a liaison) in problem solving delivery issues.

Assists Operations Scheduler with driver's weekly schedules, vacations, and time off requests.

Ensures compliance with DOT hours of service.
Reacts timely and effectively to breakdowns and accidents.
Oversees Hub Locations (as assigned) with possible overnight travel to hub locations assessing routes and Drivers.
Assists Router in daily route planning as needed.
Works with the Safety Manager on proper safe driving techniques, proper lifting, and training in all required DOT regulations.
Accepts and assists with special projects as required.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
CDL Class A License and active DOT Medical Card required.
3 to 5 years' experience managing high volume delivery route; preferably food delivery experience.
Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a transportation-related role within the quick service restaurant industry.
Strong understanding of the Federal Motor Carrier Rules and Regulations.
Knowledge of related OSHA standards and regulations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
SAP experience preferred.
On Board Computer System Experience required.
Prior experience with routing software. Appian preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities required.
Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills required.
Willing and able to work flexible / extended work schedules as needed.

About you and this role
We're looking for a Warehouse and Inventory Specialist who is organised, practical, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment. You'll play a key role in keeping our workshop and assembly operations running smoothly by helping manage material flow - receiving and processing shipments, checking and labelling parts, tracking stock levels, and picking items for production and R&D projects.
This role is essential to our daily operations. You'll work closely with workshop technicians, our print farm operations, supply chain team and engineers to keep our inventory accurate, deliveries processed, and parts ready for our teams.
Your work will help make sure materials are well organised, parts requests are handled quickly, and our projects don't stall because of missing items. You'll learn how modern inventory systems work and get real experience managing a dynamic hardware supply chain.
We are unable to support relocation or sponsorship for this role. Applicants must be based in the Netherlands, eligible to work and able to commute onsite to Amsterdam to be considered.
What You'll Be Responsible For
* Receive and inspect incoming shipments to ensure they match packing lists (including description, marking, quantity…) and promptly report any discrepancies. Accurately log all incoming packages in our in-house warehouse management system to keep precise records.
* Maintain optimal stock levels by frequently monitoring inventory and flagging shortages early to ensure parts, tools, and consumables are always available for the workshop and production teams.
* Support workshop operations by quickly picking parts with short lead times, organising materials efficiently, assembling racks, and collaborating closely on storing Work-In-Progress (WIP) assemblies and modules to keep production flowing smoothly.
* Conduct quarterly stock counts, perform reconciliations, and manage stock organisation to maintain a clean, efficient warehouse and ensure accurate ERP records.
* Safely transport goods on site, operating forklifts and other handling equipment as needed.
* Work closely with the Supply Chain and Procurement teams to report discrepancies, highlight low inventory levels, and contribute to continuous improvement in inventory accuracy and flow.
What We're Looking For
* Min 1-year of hands-on warehouse experience, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
* Comfortable working with spreadsheets.
* Detail-oriented and reliable - able to work independently and take ownership.
* Basic understanding of materials handling, stock control, and safety practices.
* Able to lift and move materials and boxes as needed (within reasonable physical limits).
* Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
Nice-to-have:
* Experience helping set up or improve warehouse operations
* Experience in working with components of electro-mechanical systems and handling such various components
* Experience with ERP systems or warehouse management software
* Forklift certificate or similar is a plus
